"I'm leaving for a while." Rindou claimed as he stood up from the sofa. Ran sighed at the sight of his younger brother leaving again. "Where are you going this time, Rin?" He asked, prying eyes stared at the boy putting on a jacket.

"I'm just gonna take a breather." Rindou replied. A playful smirk crept up Ran's thin lips. "A breather, eh? You mean Toman's precious little flower?" Ran joked, earning a glare from his little brother.

"You think I didn't know that you've been hanging around with that girl in Shibuya? Come on, Rindou. Just fuck her and get going already. It's getting old." Ran exclaimed, rolling his eyes.

"First of all, we don't hang around. And second, I have no plans of fucking her, so shut your trap." Rindou shot back, purple eyes glaring at his older brother.

"Pffft! Whatever you say, dipshit. I'm tellin' you, you're wasting your time on that girl. You have plenty of hoes to play around with here in Roppongi. Why bother traveling to Shibuya?" Ran asked, but no response was given. The sound of the door closing and clicking made Ran massage his temples.

"I don't know what her deal is but my gut is just screaming that the idiot's in trouble." Rindou whispered to himself, rolling his eyes for the nth time.

Entering a random alley, he immediately stopped in his tracks as he saw Hana with a middle aged man. His brows furrowed at the sight of a terrified Hana. He was used to seeing him all bubbly and energetic though they only met a few times. Seeing her in such a horrifying state sent red flags down his throat.

"I don't want to see you! I don't want to touch you! I don't want to breathe the same air as you!" She yelled, tears pooled in her eyes. Rindou walked up to them, catching the man's hand just in time.

"Who the hell a--"

Unable to finish his sentence as a swift jab from Rindou silenced him.

"Let's go."

He grabbed her trembling wrist, gently dragging her towards his favorite place. Throughout the entire walk, Hana's eyes never left the ground. She continued to look down as tears fell from her swollen eyes.

After minutes of walking, they reached an empty viewing deck. Rindou let go of her, walking towards the railings. Hana hugged herself as the post-autumn breeze hit her skin, resulting to a shiver.

"Why did you bring me here?" Hana asked, ending the silence they were enclosed in.

"Because it's quiet and peaceful here." He replied, still looking over the railings.

"I don't like quiet places. Silence is suffocating. It's scary." She retorted as traumatizing memories slowly entering her head.

"It's not even silent 'cause you won't stop your damn sobs." Rindou spat, adding fuel to the fire.

"Why did you even bring me here? I'm leaving!" She yelled, turning around to leave.

"Y'know? I think silence is such a beautiful thing; it just depends on who you're spending it with."

Calm words escaped Rindou's mouth, making Hana's steps falter. She looked back and stared at the man who leaned over the railings, admiring the beautiful view of Shibuya as the ending autumn breeze blew strands of his hair from his face.

She didn't know how to explain it, but something about Rindou's tone was different. He wasn't angry or irritated like he usually was. He was sad.

Unconsciously, she found herself walking towards him, standing beside him as she too leaned against the railings. Rindou didn't pay any attention to her. He continued to gaze upon the fantastic view that was complimented by the setting sun. He stood there silently yet his eyes screamed anguish.

"My parents used to fight all the time; always in each other's damn throats. Growing up, to me, they were heroes. So hearing them say all that shit to each other is just fucking sad. I get a sense of satisfaction whenever it's silent 'cause then it'd mean that no one's arguing." He said out of nowhere. Hana sighed.

"If you hated fighting, why bother being a delinquent?" She asked, bobbing her head to the side.

"There's a big difference between fighting with your mouths and fighting with brute strength. And if I'm being completely honest, getting beat down with words hurts more than a jab to the face."

His words stuck to her, repeated on and on like an defective record player. She stared at the guy beside her, wondering where this was all coming from. It was the second time she saw such a vulnerable side of him. She wanted to hug him, but something was stopping her.

"I've gone through so much as a child. Silence just reminds me of my traumatic childhood. It's suffocating and it's damn tiring to suffer in silence alone." She explained, giving a tired smile.

"Then spend silence with me. Who says you have to suffer alone?"
