"You can leave, Rindou. I don't need company." Hana muttered as she turned her back against him and faced the window once again. Rindou had no plans of leaving, instead he walked towards her, leaning on the same window sill beside her.
"Let's talk. Please?" Rindou gathered the courage to say that last word. Hana stayed silent. "What's there to talk about?" She managed to whisper. She bit her bottom lip to refrain herself from crying, or saying anything that could add fuel to the fire.
"Oh. Can I take these back, by the way? I'm getting a damn headache." He asked, yet he took the glasses from her without waiting for her response. Hana's eyes slowly landed on his face, admiring his side view. His purple orbs were staring into the horizon as the afternoon's setting sun shone against his pale skin. Just staring at him felt surreal. His very presence felt surreal. His signature perfume flew along with the early winter's breeze, tickling her nostrils with the familiar scent that smelled like home. Their shoulders barely touched yet a wave of electricity coursed through her veins.
"I'm.... sorry."
Her gaze dropped to her fiddling hands as tears formed once again around her eyes. Rindou was immediately panicked as soon as he saw her gesture. "H-hey! Don't cry!" He muttered and placed both hands on her cheeks, cupping her face as he made her face him. His expression softened as his purple hues met face to face with trembling, hazel ones. His thumbs were quick to wipe her tears in a gentle manner.
"Shhhh.. don't cry, Hana. Enough crying now." He hushed as his thumbs continued to caress her cheeks. Hana stood there dumbfounded. Where the hell did the fed up Rindou go? Is this really him who's standing in front of her?
"Eh?" Was all she could think about as Rindou closed their distance, his lips brushing softly against hers before diving in and planting a gentle kiss on her delicate lips. "I'm sorry." He muttered once again before planting another kiss.
"I'm sorry." And another kiss.
"I'm sorry." And another.
"I'm so sorry." And another.
"I'm sorry." A kiss on her forehead.
"I'm sorry, Hana.." A kiss on the tip of her nose.
"What I did was a mistake." A kiss on her cheek.
"And, I'm sorry." A final kiss back on her lips.
"I won't make you cry like that again. I won't ever accuse you of something like that again. I won't make you question yourself, or me ever again. I'll be there to make you smile and laugh after having a rough day. I'll be there to hug all your worries away. I'll kiss you every time you want, any time you need. I swear on every fucking breath I have in this life. So, please..."
Her eyes widened at the sight of Rindou on the brink of collapsing. He looked like he would fall apart at any moment. He looked like his every breath depended on her answer.
"... don't leave."
And that was her cue.
"I won't."
She managed to spit out those words before grabbing his collar and pulling him into another kiss. A long, passionate kiss that was enough to answer all the unanswered questions that kept buzzing in their heads. Her heart felt cozy as Rindou broke the kiss and instead hugged her, engulfing his warmth onto her cold skin.
