"Kohana! Are you alright?", her mother's concerned voice surrounded the living room. She ran into her mother's arms, hugging her like there's no tomorrow. "I met papa a little while back.. what's she doing out of prison? He doesn't deserve to be released!", Hana yelled, her eyes pooled with salty water.

"There's nothing I could do... with the amount of money he has, he can get away with everything. But, don't worry. I already filed for a restraining order. The next time he comes near any of us, he'll go straight back to jail", her mother assured her, giving her a small kiss on the forehead.

"Your friends are in your room. I also have a surprise for you there", her mother smiled sweetly, leaving her in anticipation. Hana quickly escaped her mother's grip and ran towards her room. As soon as she opened the door, a pair of little arms wrapped around her legs.

"Nee-san!", the child screamed at the top of his lungs. Hana quickly got on her knees and gave the little boy a tight hug. "Haku! I missed you!", she replied, planting kisses all over her brother's face. "Oi! Hana! Stop it! You're gonna suffocate your brother!", Baji yelled, yanking Haku away from her sister.

"Baji-nii! Let me go!", the little boy wriggled his way out of Baji's grip and ran back to her sister's arms. "How's life in America, Haku? Do you have a lot of friends there? Are you doing well? Is school too difficult for you?", Hana asked repeatedly. "One at a time, nee-nee", Mikey teased, chuckling.

"I'm fine, nee-san! Don't worry about me! I have a few friends there and school is not that hard", the young boy replied, giving an assuring smile. Hana smiled at the thought that her brother was finally home, and that he looked happy and healthy.

Kohaku was conceived right before their mother fell into a coma. (❗❗❗) And to make it worse, the boy was conceived due to nonconsensual sex, in simpler terms, rape. Due to all the stress and trauma their mother went through, Kohaku was born with a very weak heart. Nonetheless, they still loved the boy with all their hearts. There came a point where no hospital in Japan could continue treating Haku's very weak heart, so they decided to send him to America under the guidance of Mirai's sister to get better treatment. 

Haku has been staying in America for more than a year and they only got to visit him during holidays and his birthday so Hana was beyond ecstatic to see his brother after such a long time. Mitsuya stood up and ruffled the siblings' hair. "Seems like you're already fine. We'll get going now, Hana", he informed. 

Hana stood up, carrying her brother in her arms. "Another fight?", she mouthed, to which Mitsuya responded with a nod and a sigh. "Good luck guys~ and don't get hurt!", she exclaimed, giving her friends a sheepish smile. "And, Mikey, Draken. Thanks a bunch", she thanked, giving them a piece sign together with a sad smile. Draken ruffled her hair and Mikey gave him a bright smile. "You can always count on us. Y'know that, right?", Mikey called out, making Hana's smile spread as she waved her hand good bye.

"Oh, you leaving already boys?", Mirai asked to which the boys replied with a nod and a bow. "Safe trip, boys! And, Kohana. I'll need to return to the office for the night. I have a few problems to sort out. Will you be fine alone with Haku?", her mother asked, full of concern. "We'll be fine, mama. I can always call you or the police if anything comes up", she assured, giving a thumbs up. "I'll be going, then. See you later darlings~", their mother exclaimed, giving both of them a forehead kiss.

"What should we do now, bud?", she asked her yawning brother. "A bath, then dinner", he swiftly replied, making Hana laugh. "Roger that", she saluted, carrying her brother towards the bathroom. After bathing and changing her brother into pajamas, she also changed into an oversized shirt and shorts. 

"Haku! What do you want for dinner?", she called out as she skimmed through their pantry. But was immediately alarmed when she received no responses. "Bud? Haku? Dinner!", she yelled once more, but none. Panic washed over her entire system as she ran around the house, yelling her brother's name.

"Haku! What are you doing here? You scared me!", Hana yelled in relief as she found her brother in his room, standing by the window as he stared outside. "What are you looking at, bud?", she asked as she brushed back his damp hair. "That nii-san has been standing outside for a while now", Haku exclaimed, pointing out the man who stood in front of their gate. Hana squinted her eyes but failed to detect who it was since he was facing down and his face was covered with a hat.
