It was already dark outside when Rindou managed to flutter his eyes open. He squinted his eyes as the dark room didn't do any justice for his blurry vision. He was about to stretch when he felt that something was on top of him. He looked down, only to see a tired Hana sleeping on his chest, her leg placed over his. He smiled as he planted a peck on her forehead. She groaned at his action.
"Darling, I need to stretch. My body's aching." He whispered in her ear as he gently tapped her arm to wake her up. "Just sleep more then." She managed to reply, eyes still shut. "Never mind. D'you want food then?" Rindou asked, a sigh escaping his mouth.
Before she could even answer, her stomach grumbled, gaining a chuckle from the latter. "... I'm not hungry, though." She pouted, tightening her grip on his torso. "Nice try, darling. Up now, we're eating." He ordered, pulling both of them up. She winced in pain as soon as she sat up, feeling a sharp pang of pain between her legs and on her back. Rindou tried his best to supress his laugh when he saw her face.
"Get me sweatpants or something. It's damn cold." She shivered, hugging herself. Rindou walked towards her dresser and pulled out pajamas, throwing it on her bed. "Come on, let's go down." He offered, reaching his hands out as soon as she finished wearing her pants. Hana positioned herself and he picked her up, carrying her in bridal style down the stairs.
He placed her on top of a stool by the kitchen counter while he rummaged through their cupboards and refrigerator. Hana's gaze went to the wall clock, noticing that it was already 8 in the evening and both her mother and brother were not yet home.
"Shoot!" She exclaimed, gaining Rindou's divided attention. "What's the matter? Does it hurt somewhere?" He asked with a creased forehead. "I forgot my bag back at the studio! Mama must've been calling my phone." She muttered worriedly. Rindou raised a brow as he peered behind her. "Isn't that your bag on the sofa?" He asked, pointing at the sofa behind her. She looked over her shoulder, surprised to see her bag sitting there casually as if she didn't leave it.
"Someone must've brought it over. Maybe Waka." She pondered. She was about to stand up when she felt her legs wobble. Rindou was quick to assist her and sit her back down. "Just ask me to do it, woman! You know you can't walk!" Rindou scolded, earning a chuckle from the dazzled girl. "Well received, my love. Can you please reach me my bag?" She asked, still laughing. Rindou clicked his tongue as he walked past her and snatched the bag.
"Thank you~" She thanked, giving him a peck on the lips. As soon as she opened her bag, she fished out her phone, only to see a message from Mitsuya that was sent hours ago.
Unread message from: Takashi~
[Use protection for fuck's sake.]Her cheeks immediately heated in embarrassment. "H-how did he--?!" She screamed in her mind. She was quick to open her phone, only to see a message from her mother.
Unread message from: Mama <3
[Takashi told me that you were tired from the shoot. Rest well, dear~ Your brother and I will be staying at your aunt's for a while so you can rest well. Take care and I love you <3]"Huh? What has Mitsuya been doing?" She asked herself. Everything was so weird to her. From how Mitsuya knew about what they did, the sudden appearance of her bag, to the excuse he gave to her mother. What was it all about?
Rindou sensed the confusion and discomfort on the look of her face. "What's wrong? Did something happen?" He asked, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. But she didn't answer. She had a bad feeling in the pits of her stomach. Her hands trembled as her grip on her phone loosened. Rindou touched her hand, caressing it to ease her worries. "Hana?"
