A week. She was off of his radar for an entire week. Rindou grunted as he covered his face with a pillow. "What the hell are you fussing about?", an agitated Ran asked, removing the pillow from his brother's face.

"It's none of your business, tch", he retorted. "We're in the middle of a fucking meeting, dumbass! Focus!", Ran yelled. Rindou rolled his eyes as he sat up from the sofa. He didn't pay any attention to the meeting at all. He was physically present but his mind was in a daze.

"I knew it."

Her words continuously rung in his head. Something was off, but he couldn't pinpoint it out. "This woman is the target. The client wants us to take her, and he'll claim her or somethin'. Do what you can about her. Heard she has kids so do what you can", Ran ordered. Their men nodded in unison before leaving the abandoned warehouse that served as their hideout. "You have no objections?", Ran asked. Rindou stood up from his seat. "I don't really care. Just do what needs to be done", he lazily shrugged.

Rindou stepped out from the dim and dusty warehouse, his brother tailing behind. "I've told you before Rindou, quit it with that girl from Shibuya. If Toman finds out, I ain't helping you with your shit", Ran hissed. Rindou faced him with an irritated and bored expression on his face.

"I already told you, brother. She's nothing but a past-time, stop fussing over shit."

"Does she benefit you or somethin'?", Ran asked as he breathed a defeated sigh. Although his brother was stubborn and also quite a handful, he still kept looking out for him because he's the only one he has left. "Kinda? Just quit nagging, brother. She'll be out of my life before you know it", Rindou exhaled, putting his hands inside of his pockets.

Ran eyed his brother's face, looking for any hint of dishonesty; but he found none. He let out a defeated sigh. "Whatever. Just finish any business you have with her 'cause you two are gettin' on my damn nerves", Ran retorted, massaging his temples. Rindou only replied with an eyeroll.

Lies. Rindou was a lot of things, and a good liar was one of them. Not just good, an excellent one. Excellent enough to fool his very own brother. Being a good liar, though he always has a bored expression on his face and has a foul mouth, he was a master of emotions and knew his way around words.

"Maybe I should pay her a visit?", he asked himself as he walked around the busy streets of Roppongi. He immediately came to a stop when he caught a glimpse of her very figure, walking unusually fast.

"Hey--", he called out as he grabbed her wrist. Hana froze. She slowly looked over her shoulder, meeting eyes with him. "What are you doing here in my territory?", he asked. But was fairly surprised about what she did next.

Hana slowly and gently pulled his hand away from hers, and smiled. "I have errands to run with a few friends. Bye~", she exclaimed as she waved goodbye.

And with a single snap, she was nowhere to be found. Rindou stayed in the same place, confused. "What was that about?", he thought to himself, but in the end he just shrugged it off.

"Not a big deal, I guess."
