Part 96: Reliance (unfished)

The students were unaware of all this for the time being. 

Kaminari and Jiro finally getting together was the talk of the dorms for now. Kaminari hadn't been able to keep it to himself. Jiro was more shy but of course Mina found out soon from the guys and spread the word.

"Aren't you worried about it getting in the way of your studies?" Uraakia asked Jiro. "not that I'm not happy for you, it's just a lot."

"I guess it might but I feel like it'll be okay," Jiro shrugged. "And we gotta live a little right? Can't work all the time."

Uraraka wondered if she was right.

Kirishima, Sero, and Sato were all happy for Kaminari.

Tokayami said it was good for him if he wanted to engage in such activity...which he took to mean he was pleased.

"now that someone' bok the ice, I hope other people start getting other," Hagakure told Ojior, pointedly. "We should have a love life as students, it's healthy."

"Oh sure, it'd be nice," Ojiro missed the hint completely.

Hagakure might not really have fared any better if she wasn't invisible, it was how all the UA boys were.

Except Aoyama, who was thrilled about it.

"now it should be you and Midoriya," he told Uraaki , who blush and told him to shut up.

"I Gues i's good for him," Shoto commented to Momo. "Though it came out of nowhere."

OF course he missed that it really ahdn't.

"I suppose," Momo said, stiffly.

Even Shoto was bound pick up on her icy behavior by now.

"Did I do something to offend you?" he waksed, dead serious.

"No." Momo turned her back on him.

"You're acting strange," Shoto pressed. "Is something wrong?"

"Why would anything be wrong?" Momo fronwea t him over her shoulder. "And I can handle it mslef, don't worry about it."

Shot missed the hint.

"How is everybody doing?" Shien insuir,e ocmoign in.

"Where were you?" MIna asked.

"Wally and I had some errands to run," Shine shrugged.

JIro and Kain wondered it ha mena their secret ones and glanced at Momo and Shoto.

Shoot looked at them naorow, but, Shien din't give any indciaont either way.

"I'm gonna shower," Wlay told her. "IT's been all ong day."

HE disaon to the upstairs.

"WE cooked if you want anything," Uraka gis te kitchen.

"Thanks," Shine nodded.

"At lea thye'r al alright," Momo commented in a quiet voice.

"Im sure hy we're out with you know who," Shoto said. "I hope they have an update this time. We're losing our window. IT's been weeks already."

Mmo made no answer.

"I really thinkg someitng si wrong," Shoto turned to her again. "You know, you don't have to handle it alone if it's bothering  you. We're all here."

"Interesting," Momo narrowed her eyes at him.
