the twins got up and started to the training room, joan followed them. she leaned agains the elevator wall watching carci and catherine both put their hair up. carci tied her flannel around her waist as they steped out onto the floor. joan sat off to the side on a bench watching them spar. she found it interesting. neither twin hit above the chest nor did they use magic once.
“why didnt you use magic” joan asks when they were done
“what do you mean?” catherine asks
“well you two can summon your aura right?”
“yeah but why would we? we cant actually do anything with them against each other. our auras wouldnt attack each other nor would they hurt us.” carci says brushing off catherine
“oh?” joan asked
“we have twin auras. its physically impossible to hurt, or really do much that would help us in a fight against each other. aand the auras wouldn't fight each other. its just a waste of energy and they would just get in the way.” catherine says
“and im sure we could use them as defence but that feels like cheating. plus we’re even in strength so adding our auras would make a round take longer to end” carci says
“oh interesting” joan says
the twins stretched as they walked
“so we agree bill must know a lot more about jacklyn than he’s telling” carci says
“right, and bill doesnt tell us shit when he thinks it'll effect us in a bad way or any other way from good. or he’s worried about how we would react to it” carci says wiping her face with the inside of her shirt
“so if he isnt telling us then it’s most likely important” catherine continues
“but what on earth good be so impportant about jacklyn that bill wont tell us?”
“relative?” carci offers
“someone who could get us killed?”
“we get our selves almost killed just fine on our own” carci points out
“someone who could speed up the process?” catherine says smirking
“ok fair.” carci says
joan watched them shoot through thoughts, ideas and possibilities.
“if it helps, jacklyn isnt really related to anyone on a personal level. she had a thing with an angel years ago but that ended pretty quickly. other than that she’s related to Athena and poseidon but she hasn't contacted either at all especially after she was exiled.and she had pretty much severed all relationships with people.” joan says
“what?” the twins ask in unison
