After asking, they walked to the cabin. they reach the twin’s cabin and without hesitation carci climbed the pine tree.
“oh hey” she said
she walks across the branch. she sits on the branch and swings down to the roof of the cabin.
“oh hey” Catherine says
the twins waved at each other excitedly. carci looked around and then walked to the other end of the roof.
“Catherine! joan! get up here” carci says
catherine looks at joan who shakes her head. catherine shrugs abd with rather impressive speed makes it up the tree across a branch and down to the roof.
“GET UP HERE CYPRIAN!” carci yells
“hard pass” joan says
“oh c’mon!”
“i like to avoid things that’ll get me killed prematurely.” joan says
“you wont die from a fall like that. well you might if you fall in the stream but you wont fall in the stream im sure! you’re to prudent about normal things to slip” carci says
“you realise we could easily force you up here right?” catherine asks giggling
“I HATE YOU BOTH! no means no!” joan says
the twins went silent smirks were on both their faces. joan's face melted into an unimpressed look when they stoped pressing.
“dont you fucking dare” she says her tone was even but it was warning none the less
“...”
“when i say no i mean no!” joan says avoiding tentacles
“oh c’mon its not that bad!” catherine says
carci was crouched on the edge of the roof smirking
“you have terrible social skills!” joan says
“its really not as terrible as you think” carci says
“that isnt as reassuring as you think coming from you” joan says
Joan hopped onto the back of a bronze bear.
“ooh~ A bear aura” catherine says
“fancy~” carci says
“I GENUINELY MEAN STOP IT!” Joan yells
The edges of the bear became more rigid and Joan's bright blue eyes were hidden under a bronze glow. The air around them felt hotter and harder to breathe. The twins glanced nervously at each other and put their hands up
“ok ok sorry” catherine says suddenly a little scared of the red head.
joan let out a rough breath, blinking away the glow in her eyes. the air cooled and she shot a brief glare at the twins on the roof.
“look, you do you, and i'll do me, and chill down here mkay?” joan asks
“yeah you loss” carci says her voice was an octave higher.
“m’kay” joan says
she chilled under the cabin, calming down and slowing her heart beat. carci went to one end of the roof. she took a second to calculate, then sprinted across the roof and jumped once she reached the edge. she grabbed a tree branch and held on tightly.
“oof”
she pulled herself up and stood on the branch. she looked at Catherine excitedly. catherine tilted her head with a raised brow. she had no clue what Carci was doing or where she was planning on going, but Catherine smiled amused by how excited her twin was by simply getting to a branch and standing on it.
