Sleep Deprivation

It was the weekend, so I had nothing to do besides work. It was at the hardware store, and it wasn't very exciting. Just some dads and sometimes with there kid

When I got back to the Stark's apartment, I walk into see Tony crouched in the corner of the kitchen, seemingly scared of something in the direction I was. 

"How?" He asks, fear and horror apparent in his voice as his eyes go between a spot on the kitchen floor and me. "That's your bod...how?"

Then it hit me. His mother, Maria, did mention him to remember to go to sleep. After three to four days without sleep, you start to hallucinate. 

"When was the last time you slept Tony?" I ask him, very concerned for his now obviously declining health.

"I don't know." He said, calming down a bit, but still looking at the same spot on the floor in concern. "A few days, maybe a week."

"Come on, lets get you to bed." I say, helping him up onto his feet.

I practically carry him back to his room as he fades in and out of consciousness. I lay him down on his bed and walk away, hearing a whimper when I turn off the light and almost leave.

"What?" I ask softly.

"Stay?" He asked. I hesitate. "Please?"

"Okay." I say and I sit on the edge of his bed awkwardly.

What happened next I didn't expect. He pulled me down so that I was laying down. I got under the covers, then he made me cuddle him, which I didn't mind. He was adorable when he slept. His little snores.

I'm not even going to lie to myself, I like Tony.

He may be a little stand off-ish, well maybe a lot, but as you get closer to him, he is actually a good person. At least, from what I know. I still don't know him all that well, but he did invite me to stay here until I get back on my feet, which was something a selfish person wouldn't do, but a kind one would.

I eventually fell asleep to the sound of Tony's small and adorable snores, holding him. It felt right, holding him as we sleep. It felt so right. It felt like he belonged there.

I didn't dream of anything, but I was aware that I was holding Tony, even though I was asleep.
