A Very Gay Highschool Story

Carpool

As a reminder, there is a Google form that I would like at least a few of you to fill out.

When Stephen sat down for dinner, mom treated him like he were my significant other. She kept telling him embarrassing stories about me from when I was younger, and some of the things that I have created in the past.

"Hey, y'know that there is a deaf person at school who you could give some hearing aids to." Stephen suggested.

"I could, but I don't know how I could get them to him, I don't know how I could get to them to him." I tell him, failing to mention that I have already built a prototype that I just need to test on myself.

"I could get them to Nat, she is friends with him and could get them to him." He offered.

"Alright." I say. "I'm gonna head up to my room and... do some stuff."

"Don't stay up all night again, you have school in the morning." Mom reminded me.

I gave her comment a small nod before going upstairs to work. I put the hearing aids in my ear and began to run tests.

I stayed up all night making another prototype for this deaf kid, not realizing that I did. I didn't tell mom so I wouldn't disappoint her for doing what she told me not to do. I get dressed and make myself some coffee; a cup for here and a double-shot for school. When my school coffee is done, Stephen came in, looking fully awake and was fully dressed.

"I think I'm taking you to school today." Stephen stated. "You're dad left a note on your door."

"Okay, cool." I simply state, grabbing my coffee, then my bag.

I followed Stephen to his car and rode with him to school. I gave him some gas money, this time in a smaller bill, before leaving the car and getting to my first class of the day.

I actually talked to Bruce today, and he seems pretty cool. He has similar interests to mine, so I think we could be good friends. 

Stephen took me home this afternoon, and I think of it as he is carpooling me instead of temporarily living with me. It was that feeling he gave me almost a month ago. I haven't really felt that way about anyone before. The closest thing I had was with Pepper back in New York, but that was years ago. 

So I have decided to avoid him with out being suspicious. I don't really do well with my feelings or anyone else's by that matter, especially when they involve me. I don't even know if his feelings involve me.
