Important: I will post the next 6-7 chapters before doing another change on how I am writing this. What I will be doing is putting the ships in the same chapter because so far there are over 30 chapters, and there isn't much movement with the ships aside from a kiss and a date.
... also sorry for the long wait
Pietro
I was practically, well not practically but actually, hyperventilating by the time I got home. I had told Wanda what happened and it got me worked up once I fully processed what happened. I know had to ask my parents when I can go.
"Hey mom?" I ask as I walk into her office. "Can I ask you something?"
"Sure hun." She responded sweetly.
"Uhm, so a guy asked me on a date, and I was wondering when I can go?" I asked, watching her expression. I never actually came out to her, but it seemed like she had her suspicions.
"Tell him not on a school night." She said, a small smile on her face. "But maybe you can go after Steve's art thing on Friday."
"Okay." I say, then I walk out.
I lay on my bed and text him what my mom said. He answered with a simple 'okay' and that was that. My heart was about to thump straight (ha!) out of my chest. I was so fuckin' nervous.
----
It was finally Friday and I was so fucking nervous, but I tried not to let it show through. He seemed to be hiding being nervous as well, which made me ease up a little, knowing that I wasn't the only nervous one.
"Hey." He greeted, sounding nervous. "Are you ready?"
"Yeah." I answered, just as nervous.
I followed him to his car, put my stuff in the back of it, then getting in the front next to him. Clint stayed quiet and so did I, which made me more tense and anxious. The drive was about forty-five minutes long, and I noticed that we were somewhere in the mountains. We got out of the car and I followed him down a short trail, noticing that Clint was carrying a basket and a blanket. I slowly pieced together what Clint had planned for the two of them.
There was a clearing that we came to, and I followed Clint to where He placed the blanket carefully down on the ground, placing the basket on top of it, then motioned me to sit down. I sat down and he sat down next to me. He awkwardly reached for the basket and took everything out for us. He was so nervous and so was I.
"I used to come up here with my dad, before he... before things got bad." Clint said, looking sad.
"It's okay, let's forget the past right now, and focus on this." I sign after making sure that he was looking at me.
He nodded and we started to eat. It was spaghetti, which was still a bit warm, and also a bit romantic. It was really nice. When we were finished eating, we talked about random things until dark. Once it was dark I stood up to leave, but Clint pulled me back down.
"Wait." He said.
I looked down at Clint in confusion as it became darker and darker. Then it was so dark that I could barely see Clint, who was still sitting in front of me. He pointed up, and I followed his finger up to look at the sky. It was beautiful. I lay down next to Clint, probably a bit too close, but he didn't seem to care as I looked at the sky in awe. I felt that he was watching me, so I turn to look at him. He was looking at me. I look at him with the same awe as I did as the stars in the sky.
He propped himself up, and I followed in suit, propping myself up as well. His eyes wavered to briefly look at my lips, and mine did the same to his. He leaned in and I closed my eyes. His lips met mine and it was amazing. He pulled away and I smiled. I laid back down on my back as he hovered over me, reattaching his lips to mine. My hands latched onto his biceps as the kiss got a little more intense. He eventually pulled away, both of them gasping. I look up at him, awestruck, and he looked down at me with adoration.
"I should probably get you back home." Clint stated. "It's getting late."
"Yeah." I gasp.
"Wanna do this again?" He asked.
"The date or the kiss?" I jokingly ask.
"The date." Clint stated cheekily. "And maybe, eventually, the kiss."
I laughed and I got up, then helped Clint clean up our picnic. We went back on to the trail and back into the car, leaving the mountains. I didn't get back home until eleven, and Wanda was waiting for me like a worried parent.
"Where did you go and what did you get up to?" She asked me.
"The mountains. We had a picnic and then watched the stars." I say, intentionally avoiding telling her about the kiss.
"And?" Wanda asked.
"And what?" I ask, playing coy. "There was nothing else."
"I'm your twin Pietro, I know when you're lying." Wanda stated.
"We kissed, alright, we kissed." I admitted and her face lit up with joy. "Don't say anything. Don't do that annoying squeal that you do. I'm going to bed."
She giggled as we went our separate ways to bed. I love her, but sometimes I hate her. She is so invested in my love life, it was kind of annoying.
