Finally, A Kiss

I have written these last two chapter in school, there could be more since there is a little over 2 hours left. Wish me good luck.

Bruce

I am going back to his house. I promised that I would tutor him in math, even if I embarrassed myself with him.

“Hey.” Thor greeted, sounding surprised that I was there.

“Uhm, hi.” I greeted him back. “Do you still need help with math?”

“I do.” He said. “I didn’t think you’d come back.”

“I did.” I told him, though that was obvious.

“Come in.” He invited me and I did.

I followed him to his room where he unpacked his stuff from his bag and put it’s content onto his desk. We sit down and start on his work, pretending that what happened last time didn’t happen. It seemed to come to Thor easily to ignore what happened last time, but for me it was a bit difficult for me. Then it was time for me to leave. A bit of relief washed over me when that time came. It was torture to be alone and in the same room as someone I have liked for years, someone that I almost kissed, when I know that I have no chance with him.

I stood up and went to leave, then Thor stopped me. I looked up at him in confusion, but he just smiled down at me, like he was planning something or knew something that I didn’t. I adjusted my glasses, and went to ask why he stopped me, but he started to talk first.

“You left something last time you were here.” He told me, which surprised me because I don’t remember leaving something here, and I don’t remember noticing anything missing from my stuff.

“What did I leave here?” I asked, and he took a deep breath.

“This.” He said then he kissed me.

He kissed me. Thor kissed me. Me. Of all people, he chose to kiss someone who was basically nobody. His math tutor. Maybe he only did it to make me feel better about almost kissing him, orto help me move on for him. If it is that, it isn’t working at all. If anything, it’s stopping me from moving on from him, it makes me want to stay with him forever.

Thor

I can’t believe I kissed him. He isn’t saying anything, so I fear that I have done something terribly wrong and irreversible. Now he definitely won’t come back.

“I- uh- sorry.” I apologize. “You can leave and you don’t have to come back. I can find another tutor.”

“Who said I didn’t want to come back?” Bruce asked.

“Huh?” I asked very stupidly.

“I agreed to be your tutor because I liked you, we almost kissed because I liked you, I came back even though I feared you wouldn’t want me to because I liked you.” He stated.

Everything clicked into place. All those times I saw him staring at me, he wasn’t staring off into space, he was staring at me. Hela and Loki were right, he did like me back and he had liked e for a lot longer than I liked him. I felt like a huge idiot.

“Does that mean you want to go on a date?” I ask him.

“Of course I do.” He said, looking like he was holding back on excitement. He was so adorable.

“Okay Friday, after school, you and me, no talking about math or school.” I tell him.

“Okay.” He agrees then leaves my room.

When he left, a huge grin crept onto my face. He said yes. He likes me back, he accepted my kiss. We were going on a date on Friday. I gotta plan something. I gotta talk to some people about this. I want him to feel special because he is.
