"I can take on both of you, it won't be hard" Dream boasted. "Yeah sure. You wouldn't even get to the nether" Sapnap countered. "Yeah!" George agreed.

The three were discussing a game they made up in minecraft. Dream with his confident attitude was sure he could beat his two friends, however they didn't agree.

They stopped by Sapnap's  locker so he could get the book he needed for his next class, but when he opened it something fell out.

It was a small envelope, he hadn't seen it before and wondered what it was. On the front stood his name is elegant letters, but there was a slight shake in them like whoever was writing was nervous.

He opened the white envelope, but there was no letter in it. He turned it on it's head hoping something would fall out, and something did. It was a can tab, nothing more.

"Hey guys is this some kind of joke?" He asked showing the tab to his friends. "I dunno it's not mine" Dream said going back to his phone. "No not me either" George said.

"Well what does it mean?" Sapnap asked confused. "Let me have a look at it" George said taking the bottle tab from Sapnap. "Well looks like someone wants to kiss you Sapnap" George said finally.

"Wait what? How do you know that?" Sapnap asked. "Karl told me about it, it's this trend where you give can tabs to someone you like. The ones with the middle part gone means hug, the one that has a middle part, but there's nothing in the hole means kiss, and the one with a middle part where there's something in the hole means sex" George said nonchalantly.

"Yours have a middle part, but nothing in the hole meaning kiss" George said handing the can tab back. "Seems like you have a secret admirer Sap" Dream said with a smug smile. "Who do you think it is?" George asked. "Maybe Karl... Or Quakity" Dream suggested.

"Maybe it was that girl we worked with the other day, what was her name again? Arianna... Anna... I can't remember dude" Dream said. "Alyssa" Sapnap said shortly.

He walked to class the can tab in hand, he wondered who sent it to him. Who he wanted it to be. He knew that answer, but quickly pushed down the idea. There was no way, he didn't want it either way. Just confused, that was what he was, confused. Nothing more, nothing less, just confused.

He put it in his pocket so he could focus but his hands just followed it like they were glued together. Why couldn't he just focus. "Hey dude you okay?" Punz one of his friends asked.

"Yeah I guess..." Sapnap said sitting down beside him. "It's just someone gave me this can tab" he said.

"Huh, good for you then, means that someone likes you doesn't it?" Punz said. "I guess, who do you think it could be?" He asked Punz. "Hmmm, I don't know basically anybody"

"What do you mean anybody?" Sapnap's asked. His friend was really not helping him. "Well in theory it could be anybody in school, even a teacher, I mean you could get a list of everyone in school and then remove the people it probably isn't. And you're left with a list of people it probably is" Punz said nonchalantly.

So that's what Sapnap did. He managed to convince Dream to break into the principals office and get a list of everyone in school. So now they sat together crossing out names of the ones it couldn't be.

"Niki is dating Minx and Wilbur and Sally are dating so it's none of them..." Dream said. "Yeah and Quackity and Karl are both aroace so it's not them,"  George shot in.

"It's not Alyssa, she's dating Callaghan. I swear if Alyssa does anything to hurt him I will go on a killing spree," Dream joked, but his eyes held a dark glint.

"It's not any of the teachers they're all too old to understand internet culture" George said. "It's neither of you two, you like each other" Sapnap said bluntly looking up at his blushing friends.

"Or you're already together without telling me which would be a shame. I mean, not letting me in on the fun of teasing both of you for knowing you deeper connection beforehand" Sapnap said. His friends just sat there looking down. "Wait... really?" Sapnap asked, a huge grin spreading across his face.  "Yo I called it! Good for you guys!"

They both seemed to physically relax. "Just don't tell anyone we want to keep it down low" Dream said. "Of course dude, I wouldn't out you guys to anyone"

The dropped the conversation continuing to cross out names and writing down the most likely in a notebook. Sapnap's felt two hands on the back of his chair and he looked up staring into the eyes of Punz. He smiled at Punz. "Hey"

"Hey" Punz smiled back. "What are you guys doing?" He asked looking at the papers strewn out across the table. Dream and George looked at them and then at each other, before nodding. "We're gonna go get som lunch now. See you guys in a bit" they said quickly scurrying out if their seat. "That was... weird"

"They're probably going to go fuck or something" Sapnap's joked liked normal. "What are they together?"

"You'd think at this point, but nah, they're wearing socks" he said earning a laugh from his crush. "Wait you actually did what I told you to? I said it as a joke" Punz said. "Yeah, I know, but I wanted to figure it out" Sapnap confessed.

"Okay, let's find out who wants to kiss you then" Punz said, Sapnap froze. "Say that again" he demanded. "Let's find out who wants to kiss you? Dude are you okay?" Punz asked.

"I never told you what the bottle tab said" Sapnap said. "Yeah you did, earlier when we talked... No you shoved it to me" Punz said. He was sitting a lot straighter now.

"No I didn't" Sapnap said. "Never mind then, if you don't want my help I'll leave" Punz said angrily. "Wait Punz don't leave" Sapnap stood up and grabbed the other boys shoulder. They stood close, really really close.

"Why not?" "Answer me, and don't even think about lying. Was it you?" Sapnap asked. Punz opened his mouth, then closed to a few times before he sighed in defeat. "Yeah it was me, look I'm sorry. I just- I didn't know how to tell you, so I asked Karl for help and he told me about the trend," Punz said he was rubbing the back of his neck.

Sapnap's took a quick look around the library. No one was there. "Don't be sorry. I'm honestly glad it was you" Sapnap leaned in and gave Punz a kiss.

"I-I...." Punz closed his mouth before opening again. He did this a few times before saying anything. "Would you like to go on a date with me?" He asked.

"I'd love to" Sapnap smiled at him.

Bonus:

"It's a chain..." Nick said. It was his and Luke's 6 month anniversary. "Take it out" Luke said giving his boyfriend a smile.

Nick did as he was told and at the end was a can tab. "It's not the one... is it?" He asked. "It is actually, but now it's engraved" Punz smiled kissing his cheek. Nick turned it over to see their initials carved beside each other with a plus in between.

"I love it" Sapnap said giving Luke a sweet kiss. "Almost as much as I love you" he said. "I love you too" Luke said.
