Forget Speechless, she sleepless

Jennie

I wake up to the ear piercing sound of my alarm clock.

Yay another day of suffrage and brain-stuffing.

I put on my uniform as I sluggishly walk to the breakfast table.

"Morning Jen, you're early." Mom remarks.

"I'm meeting the girls, so we can study before the first period, we have a test." I reply.

"Okay, have a good day at school." She says.

"Thank you, mother," I reply as I walk out the door.

I see the three girls at the stop sign.

We've decided on going to Starbucks first because we're all dead.

Like no joke.

Lisa and Chae went to order while Jisoo and I got a table.

"Let me guess, all nighter studying for the math competition, am I right?"I ask as I turn to a zombie Jisoo.

"Do I even have to answer?" She replies sarcastically.

"Yay coffee, my savior!" Jisoo says in an aegyo tone, as Lisa and Chae bring our food.

After eating, and Jisoo ordering another coffee, we finally got to class.

Who decided, 'Hey! Let's teach people things that they won't use in real life!'

'Let's break their sanity and brains with workload!'

I'm honestly so done.

Schools need to learn the meaning of 'having a life'

We could be having a mid-life crisis, or be in our twenties wondering, what will we do with our lives?

What's going to solve that?

The Pythagorean Theorem?

I sure as hell don't think so.

Anyways, the test was hard and pressuring as always.

At lunch, I decided to visit the music room with the girls.

If I really want to move on, I need to replace old memories with new ones.

I sing Speechless by Naomi Scott as it is a song I've been trying to get for a while now.

"All I know is I won't go speechless, speechless~" I sing as I finish the song.

"WAH DAEBAK EONNIE, I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD SING THAT HIGH!" Chaeng says as she claps.

Suddenly, we hear a noise,

like someone slamming a bunch of random piano keys at the same time.

And see Jisoo, with her head on the piano keys, sleeping.

"Forget speechless, she sleepless!" Lisa chuckles as the room bursts into laughter.
