Jennie

I look out the car window to see our new house.

It's pretty big for two people.

All the more feelings of emptiness.

I sigh as I enter it.

It's pretty nice.

GASP MY ROOM IS SO BIG

I LOVE IT

Ooooooh and it has a TV

I mean, it's amazing...

but not just because my room looks so nice.

This whole thing?

It feels like I'm starting again.

New school, new room.

Like I'm leaving all my problems back home.

And apparently I'm going to a school called

'Jangjae High'

The name is roughly familiar to my old school but eh.

Far enough.

"Jennie, you're going to tour your new school today!"

My mom shouts from the kitchen.

I quickly put on the new uniform I have to wear.

It's honestly not that bad.

It might even look cute?

I think that's a stretch.

AHAHHAHA

We get in the car to head to the school.

As we pass by, it's quite big,

Smaller than my old school, but still big.

Mom gave me a copy of the student handbook to read.

And I have to say, this reminds me of those fancy prep schools on TV.

Okay, but why do we even have a handbook?

I'm honestly scared this is a very strict school.

The uniforms are so preppy.

There's a literal handbook.

And the staff HAVE UNIFORMS-

LIKE WHAT??

I leaf through said handbook, and realize that:

There's an ultra strict dress code, which wont let me wear any shorts or skirts which end above the knee, and no sleeveless shirts. I mean, have they realized how hot it is during the summer? And our uniforms have JACKETS.
