I felt my body laying on something soft it felt like a blanket, squinting my eyes at the bright light I hear a lot of people talking and rushing around. Looking over to my left there was a beeping sound, a monitor held my blood pressure and heart rate. What the hell? Where am I? This is different. "She's alive!" I hear a sweet voice from a female exclaim. I look over and see my aunt. "Auntie?" I ask in a horse voice. "Shhh dear let me get you some water you must need to drink!" She rushes over to a table and grabs a small red plastic cup. She hnds me the cup with a smile and some tears, "where am I?" I ask her after chugging the ice cold water. "In the hospital sweetie-" her face falls after I ask the question and she begins to have to sad and sweet tone as if you were explaining something to a small child. "- you don't remember?" She finishes with tears in her eyes. "Remember what?" I ask as I pull myslef up some. I had come to realize my ribs hurt a lot and my left leg was broken. "We had gotten into a car accident and you got hurt badly" she sighs. "How come your fine then? And dad wheres my dad!" I rush. "Sweetie calm down. Your fathers fine and I already healed." She sighs. "Wait! How could you have already healed?" I ask her. "You've been in the hospital for almost a year sweetie" she sighs. "A year!" I choke out. She rushes off with my cup and gets me more water. "Yeah sweetie a year, you got pretty bad and sense your leg didn't heal right they had to rebrake it and put it in a cast. You-" she let's a couple of tears fall and chokes. "-you had-you died before you got here. They saved you though, had to do a lot to save you but they did" she cries.

"Don't let er die!" A male voice  screams. "I'm trying" a female one shouts back. "She's breathing!" A younger male one yells. The very heavy pushing on my chest stops and I take a cough. "Open your eyes. Can you do that for me?" A the same female voice questions softly. Her voice stirred something in me like I could trust her and that I've known her almost all my life. I open my eyes and shut them quickly from the bright light. Pulling my arm up was very difficult they felt like as if they were tied to cinder blocks, and every moved only made me weaker. Blocking my face I let my eyes flutter open and my hand was moved a women with brown hair sat above me looking down at me smiling. Glancing at the hand that rested on her shoulder I followed it to see a Chinese man.

"Jasmine ya stupid Lil bitch" a voice startled me. Looking over I seen a man with a crossbow staring at me smiling. "Well no comback? Ya not gon' pass dis up are ya?" He adds. "Who are you talking to?" I ask curious. "What?" He asks looking even more confused. "Daryl I'm sorry but we need to leave now." A man walks into the room and looks at the crossbow dude that was talking to a jasmine. He glances at me and smiles walking to me as I pull myself up. He bends down in front of me, " how are you doing jasmine?" He asks. "Who?" I ask. A pain fills my head before he can reply and I cry out in pain and grip it tightly. "Is she alright!" The man asks. "Relax jas don't get to worked up" the women sighs. "Who are you people talking about?" I ask as I keep my head resting on my knees not looking at them.

"You. Stop playing around jas" the voice of crossbow man snaps. "I-i don't know who any of you are! What do you people want from me?" I yell. A pain fills my head and memories fill my eyes. Its a small me and younger crossbow man I yell and call him uncle. I open my eyes and I remember everything up to the day I got in the accident. "Why are we here uncle? Where's my dad?!" I look around in panic. The room noticably gets thick and depressing. "Shut up" uncle snaps and walks out. "I'm leaving I'm going to the police to find my dad" I shakily pull myself to stand someone puts their hand on my back and I freeze. "Jas what are you talking about?" A boy a bit older than me asks.
