Gabriel has been lying to deana trying to get her to make us leave and rick was trying to find a way to stop that. Maggie had told me she over heard it and I was upset that she didn't want me to tell rick but I did and I'm glad I did because were coming up with a plan to make him leave. I decided to sneak out hoping to find something worth my time. After climbing the wall and running for what feels like ever, I finally reached a small cluster of stores. I slowly began checking each store before I stopped at the last one. My heart sinking and my eyes filling up with tears in big bold letters read 'pet store'. I slowly take a deep breath before opening the door and coughing as massive clouds of dust hit my face.

I shine the flashlight around seeing dead animals in cages and shelf's cluttered with messy dog food bags. I hear a thump and turn quickly to a door. I slowly walk over to it completely forgetting to check everywhere first and open the door. Laying on the floor is a large fat German shepherd feeding two small German shepherd husky mix puppies. "Oh my god" I speak earning the attention. The mom begins to growl, I turn shutting the door glad I had picked up a pack of dog treats on the way. I open the bag and bend down ignoring her growls and dump the treats to the floor. They rush over and greedily eat them, the mom slowly walking to me and smelling me before rubbing against me. I embrace her and kiss her head happy to know good things can survive in this world. I couldn't tell you how angry and upset I was when they killed and ate the wild dogs. We hadn't eaten for a while and i still refused to and ended up throwing up. The puppies are glad to feel attention and love. I see a couple of harnesses and leashes and grab them, suiting the dogs up. The quickly realize what was happening and gladly pull trying to leave the room where they have been for who knows how long. I quickly grab a couple of duffle bags full of supplies and leave. The dogs seem surprisingly quiet and alert.

The sun was beginning to set by the time I reached the gates. "Yo!" I yell hoping the would hurry up and let me in. "Whose there?" I hear Eugene's scared voice call not even bothering to look. "Jasmine now let me in fuck tard" I snap at him. The gate is opened quickly and Eugene and Abraham stand in my way blocking me from fully coming in. "You can't have those mutts in here" Abraham states crossing his arms. "Your not my boss" I snap and attempt to move around him. Once Eugene comes in my way I scare him by acting like im going to hit him and he flinches back moving away quickly. Abraham starts yelling and I start yelling back. Elizabeth the mother dog, I learned her name after checking her collar, began barking at him loudly. Rick and Daryl quickly ran over, "what's going on?" rick asks making Abraham move back from me. "He thinks he controls me" I snap. "I do as long as your immune" Abraham growls out. "No you don't! No one fucking does" I snap. "Where did you find these?" rick asks eying Elizabeth who had all of her hostile attention directed towards Abraham. "I went to go try to find something to preoccupy me and came across them locked in a room" I shrug. "Why did you leave?!" rick shouts at me. "Daryl help me out please" I ask. He shakes his head and stands there. "Because I fucking can. Look they are perfectly fine I found all their papers and everything. Leave me alone all of you" I snap. As I walk in glen rushes over. I roll my eyes "hey." he smiles. "What?" I ask sharply.

"Relax. I think that's really cool of you to rescue the dogs" he smiles. "Yea sure" I grunt and walk away. I was mad at him, after he said Maggie needed him I had over heard them talking about wanting a baby and some place to settle down. I head to the house and let the dogs inside and Carl smiles when he sees them bringing Judith over to see her first dogs. "Judith look what jasmine brought" he beams excitedly. He sets Judith on the floor and the puppy run over licking her and she screams with laughter. Me and Carl start laughing to not being able to help it because Judith's laugh is so adorable. Rick comes in and stops in the middle of the door a huge smile on his face as Judith continues to scream with more laughter. "See rick?" I smile and look up at him. "Not everything I do is bad" I tell him. He walks over and stands behind me hugging me. "I know kid, I know" he sighs. He sits on the floor and plays with Judith and the puppies. "Carl" rick looks up to Carl. "Yea?" he asks. "Sit with us" rick asks. After Carl sits down and begins to play with Judith and the puppies to I notice rick sit back and stare at them completely happy. "You know me and your mother always thought about getting you a dog when you were little" rick sighs. I can hear the pain in his voice but its foreshaddowed by happiness.
Carl glances at rick for a second before going back to playing, he was probably trying not to think about her but also trying to think what it would be like if Lori was here right now watching in awe as everyone played and joined in herself. They all were, hell I was a little bit to. I was wondering what it would be like if we hadn't lost anyone and we all got to enjoy this place. It was a bittersweet moment to be honest. Elizabeth feeling left out went over to rick who was no longer was petting her puppies and licked him. We all laughed and rick started playing with Elizabeth I sat down and looked at them all. A family I felt a small amount of jealousy but I felt happy. And proud that i did this,I brought them together even if it was only for right in this moment. I know they will always love this moment together. Rick had been trying to get that relationship with Carl back but ever sense Lori, Carl shut down and pushed people away. Carl was pushing me away right now because of Noah, and I didnt find it fair. "Hey rick?" I ask completely forgetting about their moment. "Yes?" he answers looking up at me. "Wheres Noah?" I question standing up. "He went on a run with Glenn and some others" he shrugs. "Oh, ok" I nod and notice Carl huff. "Im gonna go and meet- see stuff" I try to make an excuse for leaving. Noah is gone so perfect time to go and get that necklace I seen. I slowly slip out of the house after grabbing my weapons and walk to the exit.
"Who gave you permission to leave?" Deanna's son spencer speaks looking down at me. "I did now open the fucking gate"I speak rolling my eyes. I was 16 years old. Who the fuck did this prick think he was? "My mother has a system." he speaks. "I dont care I have something to do" Grunting I kick the gate. "Listen children aren't allowed to leave without adults." he snaps. "Im better off out there on my own. She should be worried about you being out there. I know what Im doing " I snap and yank the gate open leaving. "Mom! Rick!" I hear him calling. I roll my eyes and keep going pulling my bow back and killing the walker that was stumbling towards me. I stop and remember something. I run back to the gate and he opens it for me, jogging to the house I open the door and get Elizabeth and put her harness and leash on. We head outside and i close the door behind me knowing the puppies would love to come but they can't. We head back out and jog down the road, we stop at the end of the road and i notice something out of the corner of my eye. There was a small bookbag on the ground, I slowly head over to it and pick it up. The bag was full, a bunch of survival stuff in it. I look around for anyone who could've set it there. I walk into the woods some and see anther bag smaller though laying on the ground next to a dead guy. I take his bags and sigh heading back to Alexandria.

"Im sorry Liz " I sigh and rub the dogs head. I stop and take a water bottle out and pour it out slowly Liz begins to lick at the water immediately. I guess I didn't hear her panting. After she finishes it we begin to walk again. Yes I didn't get the necklace but at least I know how she acts outside. She stops and beings growling towards the words in an attacking position. "Shhh its a walker" I whisper and tug at her leash. She ignores me and barks loudly and growls again. I dont understand we walked past walkers before and she just stayed quiet trying to stay away from them. I tug her not liking the feeling of being watched and make her keep moving. We get back to Alexandria just as night begins to fall. I knock on the gate and a bright ass light is shinned in my face. "Who is it?" someone asked. "Its jasmine open the fucking gate"I snap. The gate opens and i sigh in relief and let Elizabeth go and motion with my hand to her that she can go. She takes off to the house looking for her babies. I step in and close the gate behind me. I head right to the house and let Elizabeth in, right away she runs to her babies and begins to lick them. I toss the bags on the floor and plop on the couch sighing in relief. "God" I groan my ankle hurting. "You want me to have Pete look at this?" I hear. I look up opening my eyes to see glen looking at me worried. "Im fine" I snap closing my eyes and letting my head hit the pillow. I hear him sigh and sit on the couch. He gently lifts my leg up and takes my shoe off,and begins massaging my foot. "Thank you" I finally speak dreading the words. "No problem" I hear a chuckle in his voice. I roll my eyes and relax enjoying the feeling I knew it wouldn't last but I wanted to enjoy it. "I think its nice that you saved the dogs." he speaks. "I did it because I've always wanted anther dog." I shrug. I hear the floor creak and my eyes open seeing Daryl staring at us in distaste. "Why ye touchin on er?" Daryl asks staring glen down. "Her feet hurt" he shrugs not even glancing at him. "Dont ya think ya pregnant wife's feet hurt?" Daryl snaps. I tense up and move my foot away sitting up and sliding my shoe back on. I sit up and look at Daryl before standing up and feeding the dogs. I tried my hardest not to put pressure on my foot but I had to. "Im just a sucker for pain." I mumble to myself and sigh knowing I needed to forget about glen because I had Noah. I loved Noah. And my life was gonna get better.
