I didn't stay here I know I couldn't. I needed to be by myself, I realized rick had picked me up once he sat me down in the back room. I could here Judith crying and carl asking to see me along with my friends. The girls had stayed with us this time, and the boy had turned out to be really nice.
His name was Jake. "Get away! I need to go!" I scream. Maggie came in, "rick she might be going into shock, daddy told me about it once. We need to get her coat off." Maggie instructs. I scream louder as they take my coat off. Rick stops once he sees my arms and looks up at my face. I look away and pull my arms to my chest and hug myself. "Maggie thanks" rick dismisses her. She nods and leaves, rick sighs and sits down. "All these years that you had demanded to keep your coat on. It was all because of those?" He asks. "No before it was because it was-my fathers jacket he gave me. Then it was because of those" I tell him. "Why?" He asks looking at the floor. "I miss him. I miss him everyday. He-he wasn't as bad as everyone thought. He just did dumb things. He was the nicest dad in the world, well to me. He'd seem bad but he was only teaching me structure and endurance. All those times I thought he didn't love me was a lie he always cared. He cried with me the day he came back with uncle Daryl. He told me he was sorry." I tell him. A couple of tears drip from my eyes.
