Deana interviewed everyone but me so far, I've been nervous. The group has been to, they know my mouth alwaysgets us into trouble. And we can't afford loosing this place, they need this. Judith and Kate need this, Kate deserves a stable guardian and I'm trying to be that for her but I don't think I can. Daryl walks out and over to us, I stand up and take a step forwardready to go inside the room. Rick quickly walks over and stands infront of me, "maybe we can ask her not to interview jasmine?" Rick asks looking to aaron with pleading eyes. Aaron shrugs his shoulders and glances at the door upon hearing footsteps, Deana stands there. Shes not what I thought shed be, I pictured a big buff woman with powerful ways, yet standing there where she would be is a short old pale woman, she looks wise and caring rather than mean and powerfilled. "Jasmine im ready" the lady states. "Do you have to interview her?" Rick asks stepping infront of me, seeming like he's trying to protect me, he's probably trying to protect their chance of staying here and I'm messing it up already. "Rick" I whisper and put my hand on his back before Deana can answer. His and everyone else's attention immediately on me, "I'm not staying anyway, I just wanted to make sure you got to somewhere that's safe, and it is." I whisper, he turns quickly and looks me in the eyes. "I'm not loosing you again" he states firmly. "Rick I'm 16 or 17 now I'm a big girl, I'll be fine" I smile. "No we all-I'll leave if you have to" he corrects himself glancing around at his group, our family. "Rick she'll be fine, come jasmine" Deana states. I sigh and head in after hugging rick and telling him I'll be ok. I walk in and she softly closes the door behind me as I stand, pacing slightly while she get comfortable in her chair. "You can sit you know?" She points out. "I'm good" my rough redneck voice fills the room and only then do I realize that I still sound like my dad and uncle. "So your daryls dau-" I cut her off. "Niece" I tell her. She nods and fixes the camera, "you don't mind right?" She asks. I stare at it for a moment before shaking my head no, "alright, so tell me about you. About your group" she states folding her hands on her desk.

"My family"I correct her and I see write something down and look at me slightly shocked. "You guys consider eachother family?" She asks looking slightly shocked. "We are family, ain't no room nmfor discussion" I nod at her. "So your the immune one then I suppose?" She states bluntly shocking me. "How'd-" she cuts me off before I could finish. "I ask about everything, and rick did what he was suppose to. He told me everything" she states shrugging her shoulders like this was a normal conversation. "I'm not no science experiment" I state. "I know that your a human being, and you'll be treated as such, just answers some questions please" she states. I nod and stop pacing, waiting for her to talk. "Why do you feel you guys deserve to be here?" She questions. I take a minute thinking over these past years being in the apocalypse. "I don't" I state suprising her, she looks up from writing and stares at me. "They do though, they are some of the most loyal, best fighters, and just good people you'll ever meet. There's not a thing my family wouldn't do to protect others, to protect eachother." I tell her. "Why don't you deserve to be here?" She asks her voice full of curiosity. "I've done bad things, my actions go before I can even think about them, my mouth opens and words fly out. Ever sense the beginning all I did was get them into trouble. Get myself into trouble, and I love them to much to keep putting them at risk" I state.

"What do you think of when you see this place?" She asks. "I see a town sheltered from this horrible world, lucky to be up and standing this long. Something so good never lasts." I shrug. "Not the appearance, what do you wish to see" she states. I think her question over trying to understand it better. "A home for them, someplace where they can finally get a good night's sleep without constantly having to wake up and make sure no walkers are coming. Some where they can finallysettle down and raise their families. I know Maggie wants to have a child, and rick is sleep deprived trying to make sure Judith and Carl stay alive. And Daryl is tired making sure everyoneis alive. We are all tired, we all give up things wed like to have to make sure we stay alive and stay together" I tell her. She nods in understanding and writes stuff down.
