Hi. I'm Lia.

My life has never been easy, y'know being the new girl basically every grade I've been in. Wondering why I presume? My parents are rich, that's why. They move a lot since they often get "bored" In their current house hold. I've never had a place to call home. And, I've never had a fun experience in school since usually I'd only be in a certain school for a year or so, and then I'd have to move. I'm nothing like my parents. I've never had crushes, or boyfriends. I hate having natural hair. Don't get me wrong, it looks amazing on other people, but I enjoy looking like a highlighter. I'd like to think I'm kind, and quiet for the most part. But while my mom and dad voice their every thought, and are never kind to anyone but me and their friends. Anyways, I'll stop pining on about my life. This is my story.

Mom: "Lia get up now!"

Great. My alarm clock, my mom.

"I'm coming jesus!"
I yelled back as I basically jumped out of my bed. I stumbled over to my closet. What to wear today? Jeans, T-Shirts, Leggings... I'll just go with a pink cardigan, wait nope my hair is basically the same shade as this. I'm gonna get called a bubblegum bitch. Okay.. what about a white cardigan? Perfect! I'll go with a checkered pleated skirt, and some vintage heels. Perfect! I walked over to my nightstand and contemplated make up. I don't wanna look like a barbie, but I don't wanna look like I don't try. Okay, what about mascara, and lip gloss? Easy, simple and cute. I lightly applied some dark black mascara and smoothed on some clear gloss. I smoothed my hair out and observed myself in the mirror. This looks fine. Time to go.

Dad: "Here take some toast and go."

My dad basically growled at me and handed me a burnt piece of toast. I walked behind the counter and quietly threw it out.

"Okay, I'll be going. Bye mom, bye dad!"

They just nodded and I walked out the door. I find it funny how they couldn't be bothered to drive me. Whatever, it's not THAT far of a walk.

I finally arrived at school. Reminder to self, never say it's not a far walk ever again. I looked at everyone around me. Groups of girls giggled and took selfies, some stood alone, texting. Some were.. dancing? Whatever. Then I noticed them.

The popular girls, and guys if you will. Several girls stood applying more make up, texting, giggling, gossiping. Several guys stood flexing, and basically eating their girlfriends alive. Yeah, I'm gonna stay out of their lane. I walked inside and began searching the hallways for the principals office.

Ah! Finally there it is. I walked over to the door and knocked.

Principal: "Yes, come in!"

I slowly pushed the door open to be met with a fancy, modern looking office.

"Erm, Hi I'm the new girl, Lia Summerwell."

The principal smiled, a bright friendly smile.

Principal: "Ah yes! Lia. Just on time. Welcome! I'm Mr. Terrance. We have already sorted out your schedule, so no worries about that. But as for dorms, you will have 2 days to wrap up everything at home. The dorm rule sheet is on the back of your class schedule, but we have one  question to ask regarding you dorm."

He slid my schedule to me and I took it.

"Er, yes?"

The principal looked as if he were deciding on words.

Principal: "We've managed to snag you a dorm, two people are in it."

I nodded

Principal: "There is one girl, but there is also one boy. Are you okay with staying in the same dorm as a boy?"

I almost felt like laughing. That was the least of my worries, and as long as there was another girl I was fine with it.

"Yeah! That sounds fine."

The principal smiled and typed something into his computer.

Principal: "Welp, Musa should be here to tour you anytime soon."

Just as he said that, a tall, black haired boy walked through the door. He, was hot. He had muscles, everywhere. He had piercing amber eyes too.

M: "So, this is the new girl?"

Principal: "Yes, her name is Lia, Lia Summerwell."

He nodded and walked out the door, oh right this is where I follow him. I waved to the principal and followed this 'Musa' outside.

M: "Hey newbie. Welcome to Granit high."

"T-Thanks"

Did I seriously just stutter? Lame. Musa smiled and began touring me through the school.

M: "And finally, the science room. This is first period on your schedule. Goodluck."

We said our goodbyes and I entered the classroom. I scanned the room for a seat, but then the teacher interrupted me.

Teacher: "Everyone, this is the new girl. Lia. Give her a warm welcome."

I waved and continued searching for a seat. There, was an empty seat beside a curly blonde haired boy. I quickly walked over and sat down. He dressed in a pink button up shirt and light blue jeans along with.. white high heels?

???: "Hey, Lia right?"

I looked up when he spoke.

"Oh yeah! Hi, what's your name?"

???: "I'm Jamie."

"Oh, hey Jamie!"

He smiled, and looked as if he were going to say something else, but then the teacher quickly interrupted us and began talked about electricity.
