Quiz me. (Chapter 16)

Elias' POV

God the new girl, Lia was so cute. I don't know if she's into me, but I've given her my number and I'm studying with her soon! I knew I was headed in the right direction. That sleezy bastard who cheated on her is blind. So, very blind. Okay her dorm is.... 25e! I knocked on the door and saw Lia. God, she was gorgeous. 

L: "Hey come in." 

She smiled and I smiled back

"Alright"

She brought me to her room and we began studying. 

L: "Okay done. Quiz me."

Hmmm I've got this.

"What sport's hall of fame enshrined Abraham Lincoln for having a stellar record of just one loss?"

She thought for a moment 

L: "Wrestling?" 

"Yup!"

She laughed. 

"Which Founding Father had a house which was discovered to have had about one thousand two hundred bone pieces from about ten human skeletons?" 

Oh lord, this was difficult. 

"Benjamin Franklin?"

L: "Yup!"

We both paused for a moment and stared into each other's eyes. We both leaned in to kiss until we both blushed and looked away

"I-I'm gonna go now!"

L: "Alright- um -er g-goodbye!"

I waved and speed walked out. God that was embarrassing.

I almost got close to kissing Elias. God what happened to me just then?! I shook my head and got up. I flopped down on my bed and thought about the situation. I feel like I shouldn't have another crush after just getting over Musa, but I couldn't help it. I guess I've finally made up my mind. I do like him and I'm going to confess eventually. I'm not going to tell Jamie or Aliya just yet. I have to be weary of Carrie though. I don't want her to get in the way of this so I have to be weary of her and make my move quickly. I sighed and decided to text Elias. I have to get closer to him so I'll ask him to hang out this weekend. 

Lia's message: Hey! Wanna go to the beach with me tomorrow?

Elias' message: Sure, what time?

Lia's message: 2pm?

Elias' message: Sure. I'll be there.

I smiled down at my phone and headed to the T.V room where I saw Aliya and Jamie watching outlander. 

"Really? Without me?" 

I laughed and sat beside them

J: "Sorry! You just seemed busy with that exchange student."

I heard Aliya mutter something

"Hm?"

A: "Oh. Nothing."

I shrugged and continued watching

J: "Me and Aliya are going shopping tomorrow, wanna come?"

"Oh sorry I'm actually going to the beach with a friend."

J: "Oh, okay!" 

I smiled and got lost in outlander.
