Lia is a 16 year old girl going into high school. But guess what, she's the new girl. Great. As Lia attempts to survive high school, she discovers something about herself no one would have guessed. All it took was a couple heartbreaks.
I do like Aliya. She's beautiful, kind, amazing, and she's been here with me since day 1.
"Aliya, it was you, all along."
She gave me a confused look.
"You were the one I loved, all along. You've been with me since day 1, and you're amazing. I like you too."
She smiled and hugged me. I basked in this moment. It felt right. After awhile Aliya stood up and pulled me up.
A: "Let's get changed, and let's get your make up off. We can go to my room and watch a movie, yeah?"
I nodded. That sounded great right now, just what I needed. Aliya smiled and walked into her room. I slipped into a silk pajama set and put on my bunny slippers.

I walked into Aliya's room and she was wearing the same Pajamas as me. I giggled.
A: "Oh wow, we wore the same thing! You look really cute."
I blushed.
"You too."
She smiled and nodded her head to me in the direction of her vanity chair. I walked over and sat down.
A: "Okay, let's get this makeup off."
I nodded. She grabbed a makeup remover wipe and began taking my makeup off.
A: "Lia, you have really pretty green eyes."
"Thank you, you're eyes are really pretty too."
She smiled and I did too. When she finished she grabbed a brush and began brushing through my hair. Once she finished, she put it into a bun.
"Okay, movie time."
She laughed.
A: "Okay, hmm Spirit stallion of the Cimarron?"
"How did you know that was my favourite?"
A: "I have my ways."
I laughed and hopped onto her bed. She sat next to me and I leaned on her. She then put her arm around me.
A: "Alrighty, Spirit stallion of the Cimarron, here we go."
She opened her laptop and selected the movie on netflix. I smiled as the screen started playing it.
A: "Are we going to school tomorrow?"
"Heavens no. So much went down today."
She laughed.
A: "Fair enough."
I felt my eyes start to get heavy. I decided I'd close my eyes for a minute, I didn't want to miss the movie but I'd only rest my eyes for a few minutes.
The movie concluded and I turned my pc off. I looked over and saw that Lia had fallen asleep. I smiled and laid down beside her. I pulled the blankets higher and then closed my eyes. I drifted into sleep knowing I had unlocked a new chapter in my life.
I woke up to my alarm clock screeching at me. I panicked, not wanting to wake up Aliya. I slapped the alarm clock and it shut up. Phew. I looked over and Lia and saw she was still asleep. Awesome. I got up and dressed in a black cardigan, a black pleated skirt and some bunny slippers. I walked into the kitchen and began cooking hashbrowns and eggs. I heard footsteps from the hallway and then I saw a tired looking Lia dressed in a pastel green dress and bunny slippers.
"Morning Lia."
L: "Morning Aliya."
She sat down on the couch with her phone and I simply assumed she was on Instagram. Classic Lia. I finished cooking breakfast and set two plates down with scrambled eggs and hashbrowns on them.
"I made breakfast"
L: "Ooo I wanna try it!"
She got up and basically dashed to the table. That made me laugh. We dug in and she seemed to be in awe at my skills.
L: "I never knew you could cook!"
I chuckled.
"Of course I can."
She rolled her eyes in a playful way.
"Anyways, I was thinking we could go to the cafe today. As a little first date or something like that."
L: "I'd love that! How about we go around 2?"
"Sure. But, since we both don't have cars how are we getting there?"
L: "Simple, we're gonna walk."
"Aw man but it's like, 15 minutes from here!"
L: "It never hurts to get a good walk in."
She smiled and I rolled my eyes.
"You're right I suppose."
I smiled back and took our plates. I gently placed them in the sink and walked back into my room.
"C'mon Lia I'm not watching Lucifer by myself until 2!"
L: "Okay okay I'm coming!"
She ran into my room and snuggled in next to me. We began to get lost in the world of Lucifer. As always.
