NO! (Chapter 11)

Lia's POV

I woke up to be met with a snoring Musa next to me. I blushed. I stood up and stretched. Crap! Today is Monday! I quickly tugged on the skirt I had worn yesterday along with the cardigan. I searched for my bag and quickly put a spare notebook Musa had and some extra textbooks he had into my bag. I shook him awake 

M: "Morning sunshine, what's up?"

"It's Monday!"

He widened his eyes and jumped out of bed. He tugged on a hoodie and jeans and then grabbed his backpack. We both ran out of the door and split up for our separate classes. I rushed into the classroom to be met with 20 or so eyes staring at me. I gulped. 

Teacher: "Ah Lia, you're late."

"I'm so sorry-"

Teacher: "Sit down"

I quickly ran to my desk and sat down. 

----------------------------------------After class----------------------------------------

I stood up and wobbled for a second before gaining total balance. I grabbed my books and walked into the hallway for locker break. I then saw something that broke me. Musa and Alexa, making out. I dropped my books in horror. He had taken my first kiss the night before! Tears streamed down my face and I ran back to my dorm. I passed Jamie and Aliya on the way. I finally reached my dorm and entered. I sat on the floor of my room and sobbed. Only seconds later, Jamie and Aliya came in. They sat down beside me and pulled me into a hug. 

J: "What's wrong love?"

A: "Are you okay?"

I shook my head. I couldn't even get words out right now. I was shaking too.

J: "C'mon, let's get you some water."

Jamie and Aliya helped me up and took me to the kitchen. They poured me a cold glass of water. I picked up the glass with a shaky hand and took a sip. 

A: "Do you wanna talk about what happened?" 

Aliya asked me in a very gentle tone

"Y-yes"

Jamie rubbed circles into my back to calm me down

"S-So I went to the movies with Musa last night." 

I took a breath 

"And we went home, and he took my first kiss" 

I bit my lip so I wouldn't burst out sobbing again

"And then I saw him making out with A-Alexa during locker break."

I burst out sobbing again and Jamie pulled me into a hug. I could tell Aliya was fuming.

A: "I can't believe him!"

J: "It's going to be okay Lia, I promise. You'll find someone else who makes you happy, and they won't hurt you. Me and Aliya won't let anyone hurt you, ever again. No more hanging out with Alexa, or Musa. And it's best to not take revenge. It'll only make it worse, I know you'll never have that opportunity again. I know that sucks but I promise you, it'll be okay." 

I took a deep breath

"B-but loosing your first kiss is a once in a lifetime thing and it's supposed to be special!"

J: "I know. It'll all be alright. I promise. There's always going to be other special things in life too."

A: "Jamie's right."

I sighed

"I agree."

J: "Do you wanna stay home for the rest of the day?"

"Yes. I would really like that."

A: "Okay, we'll stay with you." 

They walked me to the living room and turned on our favourite show, Lucifer. Jamie layed blankets over us and Aliya brought cookies. Jamie and Aliya sat close to me, which comforted me. 

----------------------------------------Around 9:00pm----------------------------------------

J: "Alright, we should hit the hay. Want me to help you to your room?"

I didn't want to sleep alone tonight. No way. 

"I-I don't wanna be alone tonight."

A: "Do you wanna set up a little sleeping area in here?"

I nodded and Jamie smiled. Aliya and Jamie grabbed 3 pillows and multiple blankets. They laid each of these on the floor. I laid down in the middle and they laid beside me, and hugged me. I felt safe, comforted with my friends. I drifted into sleep, feeling better now due to my amazing friends.
