......
Drip.
I feel the fresh blood of a newly slain demon hit my forehead. The metallic feeling in my mouth grows as the cut in my stomach worsens. I feel like shit, this was one of the hardest fights I've experienced and my body is defiantly feeling the effects.
I feel a cough rising in within me as I cough up bits of blood, that fucker really took the life out of me. I plop onto the ground after leaning against a tree for so long that I didn't even realize the sun was rising. I always hated the sun. The night has always been more comforting to me, the cold air, the comfort of the moon, and the beautiful nature has always made me take a liking the later hours of the day.
I lay my mismatched haori on the ground next to me, closing my eyes completely disregarding my wounds. I think of Sabito and proceed to look back down to the gash in my torso. I groan and tell mumble to myself "Tomioka, you cant give up, this is all for them." I then hear a voice, the voice of one of my fellow hashira, but as I know her, a fucking insect.

I run throughout the forest and feel the cool wind of the winter brush my skin. Running 300 miles per hour to find the dumbass that I call a comrade.
I mean seriously, this man doesn't talk to anyone, doesn't get along with anyone, and put his life on the line for a demon child? A very weird individual indeed.
I always ponder and let my mind wander about what the man known as Giyuu Tomioka thinks about. I can't believe I was sent to rescue someone who can't even converse with Muchiro, someone who barley even speaks.
I stop in my tracks after I pick a scent in my nose, it reeks of blood, metal, and must. I take the chance and sprint over to the scent and follow the trail, hoping I find the man I was sent on a mission to look for.
I then found a batter and beat version of Tomioka. I sit and stare as I analyze the injuries he sustained and the demon he fought. The demon that he looks to have fought is definitely a lower moon, looking to be maybe even an upper. Tomioka has a large scratch on his torso, and it looks to be a deep one. I cant deduce what else has happened to him without approaching closer, so I proceed ahead to go and converse and take care of the man that is named Tomioka.

I hear the humming of the mosquito in front of me. She then says to me, "Tomioka, you look terrible what happened?"
I felt the sincere tone of her voice when she had said that. I look up from the ground and stare directly at her and say "Two lower moons, they're both dead now but the fight lasted all night. You don't have to take care of me, I can patch myself up."
I analyze her face after what I said, looking very concerned she takes my bandages I brought with me, and says "I was sent here to check and make sure your not dead."
She then points toward the bandages and chuckles saying "Tomioka, I've seen plants that would absorb more blood than these sad bandages. I have bandages and I'm gonna look at all your wounds back at the estate. But for now I'm patching your wounds." I grunt and sit up to let her patch my wounds.
Regardless of how much of a pest she is, I appreciate the care especially on this night. I'm not staying at that estate though. If I see other people besides her there I'm gonna wanna throw myself into a wall. I choose to just think about other things besides that right now, addressing that later. I think I'm gonna make salmon daikon tomorrow.

I hear him grunt and I start patching up his wounds, he honestly did an amazing job killing two lower moons by himself. These injuries are going to require medicine, and maybe stiches, these look bad.
He continues to make small noises as I wrap these wounds precisely and carefully. There's a lot more than I expected and could see from a far away. He has a large one on his stomach, a large one on his chest, one on his thigh, and a lot of scattered scratches.
I continue to wrap with a worried look on my face. I've never noticed how large Tomioka is compared to me, and as I wonder off in thought I finish wrapping up his wounds.
He grabs my hand with his, and stares in my eyes saying "Lets go Kocho, I dont feel like sitting on this tree all day." I feel his hot breath hit mine while he says it and a light tint of blush comes across my face.
He gets up hissing in pain as he walks back towards the estate. I slowly follow behind him as he limps a bit. The walk goes by quietly, as we arrive at the door. This man needs some help, and I'm gonna make sure I annoy him throughout every tiny bit of it.
