It felt so right having her in his arms. She was everything. Emily had stayed up all night shooting John down. Freddie had been rude towards the band and told them he was going solo. Of course everyone knew it was Paul's fault, but it hurt John pretty bad.

"It's like I don't know him anymore. He even said bad things about you. The girl who has been supporting us through everything. Fucking everything!" He had said while passing around their flat.

Emily hid the pain she felt, knowing that Freddie had talked bad about her hurt. "John! Please calm down." She walked up to him and embraced him. "I'm sorry love." He kissed her head, swaying them back and forth.

"He'll soon realize his mistake." She whispered, mostly to herself. John's anger was starting to calm down, but he still wanted to punch Freddie. "We're going to be fine until he apologizes. We are going to be just fine."

Emily wasn't sure if she was reassuring John or herself. Maybe even both. John was not letting her go, holding on to her tightly. "What did he say about me? About us?" She traced small figures on his chest. He hesitated for a while. "That you were just annoying to have around. That you're just after our money and fame. That you shouldn't be around us at all." He could feel her heart break.

"But he's wrong. I know he is. Cause I love you and I know he is wrong. You've been there since the start. When no one believed in Queen, you did. He is talking shit." John cupped her cheeks smiling. "We don't deserve you."

He kissed her lips, feeling something wet hit them. "Emily. Don't cry." He tried of her tears. Emily had her eyes shut. "I love you John. I hope you know that." John's heart melted.

"I know. And I love you."

He wrapped her in his arms. Treating her like the finest China.

Because holding her felt so right. She was everything he needed. And they were perfect together.
