He nervously tapped his foot while the boys sat up for their first gig. Their very first gig with Queen. John was dying inside, not being able to calm down his anxiety.

"John." Mina's voice sounded like music to him. "Oh, hello Mina." She understood quickly that he was nervous. "It's going to be alright John. They'll love you." She reached for his hand, laying it gently in her own. "What if they don't?"

"Then that's their problem."

He chuckled before becoming serious again. "Oh Johnny. Please cheer up. It's going to be just fine."
"You only say that because you're our friend." Mina sighed. "Have I ever lied to you guys?"

He shook his head, turning so he was facing her. "I'm just anxious. Very anxious." John whispered almost embarrassed about it. "That's okey. This is all new to you. But, if you get to nervous, just look for me in the crowd. Like we do when you practice."

Their eyes met for the first time while talking and John felt himself calm down. "You have that power." He said while hugging her close to him. "I'll be your nr. 1 fan out there. Forever and always."

The sweet moment was interrupted by Freddie calling him and getting ready for the show. "You show them Mercury!" She shouted after him, then turning to John. "And you show them Deacon." He nodded before walking.

"Look for me in the crowd!"

"I will!"

As soon as John stepped a foot on the stage he almost fainted. There were more people there then he thought, and the room was quiet.

He let his eyes glide over the room, trying to find that one person. "John!" She shouted and he smiled. She was there, close to where he was standing on stage, and she had the brightest smile.

Keep yourself alive started playing and Mina started singing along. John had his eyes on her the whole time, and Mina kept her eyes on him.

More and more into the concert and John was actually enjoying himself. He started dancing to the beat and Mina found that absolutely adorable. She laughed and started dancing as well.

That's when he knew. That's when John Richard Deacon knew he was in love with Mina Williams.

John was taken back to reality when Freddie announced that they were done. The four boys ran of stage and into the back room.

"Boys!" Mina's voice made them all turn around. She first ran to Roger, since they had been friends the longest. "I am so proud of you all!" She kissed his cheek and did the same with Brian.

"I know we were good! The crowd loved us!" Freddie pulled her into a tight hug before Mary came. "And we had the biggest supporter with us!" Mina chuckled before turning to John who just came back from getting some snacks.

"And you!" Mina ran into his arms, John wrapped his arms around her, spinning her around. "You were absolutely amazing up there!" Mina was still in his arms, her legs wrapped around his waist. They got lost in each other's eyes before they both leaned in.

"I had my nr. 1 fan out there." He whispered, and then their lips met.

"I'll always be yours."

"And I'll always love you."
