Chapter 38

I decide to text Braden. I know he's not awake but he'll see it when he wakes up.

Braden texts me back in the morning and says "good morning gorgeous"

"I miss you " I text back.

"When are you coming back? " I ask.

"Soon" is all he says.

A few hours later I'm taking a nap when something or someone wakes me up.

I open my eyes and see Braden. "Omg your back!" I say. I jump up and hug him.

Yeah, I saw all your Facebook statuses and I needed to come and help you. "

"Oh.. I'm sorry." I say.

"For what?" He asks.

"For scaring you and you having to stop the tour.." I say.

"It's okay. I don't care what anyone says, I'm not going to let you be depressed and alone." He says.

" I love you. " I say.

"I love you more than you know." He says back.

"Really? " I ask.

"Yes." He says and kisses my forehead.

"I feel bad. " I say.

"Don't." He says.

"Why? Your fans hate me now."

"No they don't. Even if they do, so what." He says.

I thought.........oh nevermind....." I said.

"You care about your fans a lot......."

"Yes I do." He says.

"So why did you leave them? "

"Okay I promise I won't do it again.. But it sucks seeing you suffer and then I leave for my shows."

"It's fine I do miss you and I do need someone to help me through the really bad parts like at night but I just know I have to learn how to either get over it or deal with it on my own because you're not always going to be here. "

I knew I hit a nerve because a look crossed Braden's face.

"What do you mean I'm not always going to be here? I will always be here for you. And you will never have to deal with it on your own." He says.

"I don't know. I'm not thinking straight. I had a bad conversation with my dad yesterday......... sorry. " I say.

"It's okay. What was the fight about? He asks.

"He didn't care that my mom killed herself. He thinks that Misty can just come in and replace her. Yeah, we didn't have the best relationship but she was still my mom!"

"Wow." He says.

" Yeah, now I feel really bad that you had to come back into an even bigger mess." I say upset.

"Don't say that." He says.

"Say what?" I ask.

"That you feel really bad that I had to come back to an even bigger mess.. I love you, Chloe. You will get through this." He says. I start to cry.. I can't hold it in any longer.

"I.......Never..........want............to fight............with you...........Braden " I say between sobs.

"I know. I don't either." He says and hugs me.

"I'm sorry I said all that stuff" I said as I wipe my eyes.

"Hey it's ok." He says.

"No it's not. Hey Braden? " I ask.

"Yes it is. It's okay for you to get upset and rant. It's okay to yell and cry. Sometimes you have to and what?"

"Can we do something like take a trip that's not work related?"

"Yes! To where?" He asks.

"India? My favorite actress lives in Mumbai. I mean, I really want to meet her but......."

"We can go there!" He says.

"Really?!" I say getting all excited.

"How to get in contact with her agent though?" I think out loud.

"Hey Braden? " I say.

"yeah?" He asks.

"Have I told you about my Indian obsession?"

"No." He says and laughs.

"I love the colors and dances and music and jewelry "I say.

"Oh. Well shall we look up some flights?" He asks.

"Yes!"I say hugging him tightly.

"How do we get in contact with Kareena Kapoor? " I ask.

"I don't know. I can look up flights and you can try to find her number?" He asks.

"deal." I say.

I look up and I find her agent's number.

" Will you call I'm scared " I say.

"Sure." He says and dials the number.

"Nameste?" A man answeers.

"Hi do you speak any English?" He asks.

"Oh sorry," he says. "Hello. How can I help you? "

"I'm trying to find Kareena Kapoor?"

"Oh yes. She's a very popular actress here in Mumbai."

"Yes.. Do you know her number? My girlfriend wants to meet her." He says.

"I don't know her number but u do know her address and where she'll be. When do you two plan to come?"

"We don't know yet but probably soon." Braden says.
