I can tell something is up, it's weird that Braden was messaging Kareena. It probably was fake but I'm not sure. I really am curious now.
"Babe?" I ask. " Why does your calendar say California? "
"I have a show in California soon." He says.
"I wish I could come" I say.
"Yeah I wish so to but I don't think Mark would approve." He says.
"Wait a minute........on my birthday?! You promised you'd spend the day with me!"
"Oh crap. Sorry I forgot, I'll call and cancel it right now." He says.
"You better and I thought Mark liked me?" I say pouting.
"Not exactly." Braden says.
"Great, " I say sadly. "I wanna meet Kareena but I can't and now your boss hates me......."
"I'm sorry." He says.
"It's okay. " I say.
"Would you still want to go to California for your birthday? " He asks.
"Yeah. I guess it would be fun." I say.
"A romantic lunch together at Hard Rock Hollywood? "
"How is that romantic? " I ask.
"Uhh..." He says.
"I'm kidding! Yes I'll go." I say.
He smiles.
"So when do we leave? " I ask.
"Tomorrow morning."
"Oh! I guess I better start packing!" I say laughing.
"Uhm. Braden? How long are we going to be there?"
"I don't know. Probably not long." He says.
"So should I even pack an overnight bag?" I ask.
"You might want to just in case." He says.
"K" I say.
"Braden?" I say.
"yeah?"
"Does your mom know about me?"
"Yes. In fact, she told me she wants you to come over for dinner sometime."
"Oh okay. " I say.
"Are you packing a bag" I ask.
"Yeah." He says.
We get to the restaurant the next day.
"Table for 3 please" Braden says.
"3? Is your mom coming?" I ask.
"Yeah." He says.
"oh okay." I say.
"I have to go to the bathroom. Be right back." He says.
"Okay" A few minutes later while I'm waiting for Braden, someone touches my shoulder. I turn around and see Kareena Kapoor!
"Hi" she says.
"Omg!" I say and jump up and hug her.
"What are you doing here? " I ask.
"Well I can explain." Braden says.
"Uh ok." I say.
"Well I actually don't have a show today.. I emailed Kareena and asked her if we could do a meet and greet." He says.
"You did that for me?" I ask starting to cry.
"Yes. I love you so much and it made me sad that we couldn't go to India and see her so I emailed her." He says.
I walk up to him and hug him, crying.
"I love you " I say crying.
"This is for you from me happy birthday. " I open the bag and see every movie Kareena has been in and her biography and a sari but not just a sari the sari she wore in my favorite movie Jab We Met.
"Omg thank you so much!" I say to her.
"You're welcome want me to show you how to wrap it? "
"Sure." I say.
She wraps it around me and we take a picture.
"So how long are you two here for?" She asks.
"A few days." Braden says "What do you mean?" I ask Braden.
"Well.. I have another surprise for you.
"I only packed for 2 noghts!" I moaned.
"That's okay.. I packed more clothes for you." He says.
"Does Kareena know the surprise? "
"Nope." She says.
"How long are you here" I ask.
"Until tomorrow night" she says.
"Oh okay. " I try not to show my sadness but I think they can tell.
"I'm sorry. I wish I could stay longer." She says.
"Me too. " I say. :will you teach me how to dance before you leave? " I ask.
"I'll try!" She says and laughs.
"Good enough for me." I say laughing.
You know who's really good at it? Shahid Kapoor."
"Oh really?" I say laughing.
"Yeah, I'll text him and ask him to Skype me quickly. "
