I smiled and almost started to cry but then Marissa said "what are you doing?"
"Reading this note Braden left " I say sighing.
"What? He left you a note?"
"Yes" I say
"Can I read it?" Marissa asks
"Sure." I say handing it to her.
"Sure." I say handing it to her.
"Is this one of his songs?" She asks
"yeah" I say
"Awww cute" she says
"I know" I say
"Goodnight" Marissa says
The next morning the nurse comes in and asks to see me.
"Everything okay?" I ask the nurse
"Yeah, I guess you're getting out early."
"What?!" I say excitingly
"Yeah your ride is out in the comon room. "
"Okay. I'll get packing!" I say
I go out to the waiting room and see Braden
"Wanna leave this place?" He asks
"Yes" I say smiling
"Last one to the van gets eggs smashed in their hair!" He says and runs quickly.
I smile like an idiot and run after him, he's pretty fast!
"Braden!" I call
He keeps running. By the time I finally catch up to him we are almost by the van. I run as fast as I can.
"Braden! I seriously need to talk to you!"
"What's wrong?" He asks slowing down
"I'll get in trouble"
"Why?"
"A doctor needs to discharge me and my parents need to sign me out not some stranger who happens to be my idol....."
"Oh" he says.
"I'll call my parents" I say
I call the house phone and Misty picks up.. "Hello?" Misty says "Hi Misty, it's Chloe." I say
"Hi........"
"Can you come and sign me out?" I ask
"What do you mean?" She asks
Like for me to leave. " I say
"Oh, no you haven't been there long enough yet. "
"Do you not want me to be home?" I ask
"You just need help " she replied
"I did get help." I say
"For what? a day? "
I have been in here for more than a day, but if you really want me to stay longer I will." I say
Braden looks at me and he looks really confused
I look at Braden and tell him that he has to take me back.
"Oh um okay." He says sadly
"What is it?" I say
"I wanted to go on a date with you" he says
"Oh we can do that "
"When? I'm leaving tomorrow morning and heading back to my hometown."
"I guess tonight"
"But you have to stay here." He says
"I'll go ask the nurse if I can go with you for at least an hour and be back by 8:00" I say
"Excuse me? "
"Yes?" The nurse says
"Can I go out with Braden for an hour? "
"Sure." The nurse says almost falling asleep standing up
"Thanks. I promise I will be back in an hour" I say
I walk out and see Braden
"She said yes" I say.
"Awesome ! what do you want to do?"
"There is a coffee shop close by that we could go to." I say
"Okay. Cool, let's go!"
We get in the van and his friend drives us to the coffee shop.
"Hello! Welcome to The Cozy Coffee Shop! How may I help you?" Says a girl who looks a little older than me
"A table for 2 please " Braden says
"Over here" the girl says
Braden pulls out a chair for me. "Thank you" I say
"You're welcome" he says
"So how are you?" i ask
"I'm good. But what about you?"
"I'm okay I guess. "
"What's bothering you?"
"It's just been so long" I say
"What do you mean?" He asks
It's been too long braden I say
"Too long since you have seen me?"
"Yeah" I say
"Well I'm here now" he says
"I wish you didn't have to leave " I start to cry softly
"Me to" he says and grabs my hand
"Do you know what you would like to order?" A girl asks
A vanilla bean capicuino I say
"I'll have hot chocolate" Braden says
"Coming right up"
"I hope you can get out of the mental hospital soon." Braden says when the waitress walks away
"Me too." I say
"I know what it's like being there" he says
"You need to come more often. Really? " I ask.
"I know." He says
"What do you mean by you know what it's like?" I asked.
"I had to go to a mental hospital several times."
'Aww Braden! " I say
"It's ok. It was a long time ago anyways"
"Okay."
We get back to the hospital and I beg him to stay
"I wish I could." He says.
I started to cry.
"Don't cry" Braden says as he wipes away my tears.
"But you're going back on tour......"
"I wish I didn't have to go. But please call me when you get out of this place." He says.
"I will" I said hugging him one last time.
