Ch 5: The 424

RIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGGG, RIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG

Killo was sweeping some broken glass from under the sofa when he heard the phone...

"Hello?"

"Oh thank God you picked up Kilo!"

"Mia! Hey! Everything is okay I was just cleaning up and-"

"Don't play down what happened boy! I was looking through my kitchen window when I saw those barbarians march in that house while Stella ran off."

"Well, Mia you practically summed up what happened tonight."

"And? Have you been able to reach Stella?"

"No, not yet."

KNOCK, KNOCK

"Wait a sec Mia, someone at the door."

Kilo opens the door and before he was able to set himself to greet whoever was at the door Mia barges in.

Mia is an elderly neighbor of Kilo's, a woman with high spirit who practically saw Kilo and Stella as her own kids. This heartwarming, chubby lady was always a good friend.

"Oh, Kilo. I already knew that- I know you kids too well now." She takes the phone from Kilo hands and hangs up for him; all as he stood there dumbfounded by the woman moving quickly through the house.

Mia already was hauling the trash bin from the kitchen as she started picking up the mess from the living room.

"Mia! what are you doing?"

"I'm helping silly! Beside I just finished getting of the phone with one of the women who live by the dentist office and Sister Mary confirmed that cops were able to arrest Stella. As a matter of fact she was lucky to be alive."

"Oh my God, you already gossiped with a nun? I'm not sure if that's a good thing Mia. "

"Hey! It's a lot more than what you have there young man. Besides, we both know that Stella is going to need our help."

"Well, you have any ideas?"

Mia then answered with a confident smile. "Why, yes I do actually."

Meanwhile...

Chen was racing down the rocky roads approaching the bigger docks were export ship would come and drop off merchandise.

Finally in the middle of the shipping container yard Chen parks and informs Chuck, "We're here." while he proceeded to step out of the car and quickly pull out his phone.

Stella then looks around in confusion, "What do you mean we're here? There's nothing here."

Chuck then sarcastically looks at her, "Of course this isn't my place, this is just how far we can go in car."

Before Stella could answer anything else the winds pick up and the juddering sound of a helicopter closely flies over them.

Calmly Chuck points to the helicopter now landing 10 meters from the car, "This is our ride."

As everything unfolded in front of Stella's eyes, all she could do was stand in awe on how everything came as quickly as the big boss ordered it.

"STELLA STAY CLOSE TO ME, AT THIS TIME FLYING IS A REAL TRIP! YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO FALL IF YOUR IN A HELICOPTER."

Chuck extended his arm to Stella as the helicopter waited with it's propellers still running. Seeing how her brief experience with height didn't end well, she left all prejudices aside and held on to the man. Chen quickly barked some orders which had the men on scene run around like mice. One of the men took the car and drove off, while the other helped Chuck and Stella be secured in the helicopter. With Chen next to the pilot, the helicopter took off.
