It was late. The festival had just begun and people were having the time of their lives. Any time now the sky is going to be filled with countless shining xiao lanterns. He was sitting on top of a mountain, watching from afar. Any moment now.

Finally, wishes written down on the lanterns, were let go into the sky.
The sky shining bright, leaving the adeptus staring in awe.
Yet something unexpected happened. A huge blue star has appeared in the lit up sky.
A shooting star?...No.. A person?
And a gorgeous lady showed up.
The festive deer running through the sky has stopped in it's tracks as he approached the woman, her bringing her hand up to pat the animal.
"IT IS HER... THE GODDESS OF THE ENDLESS VOID!" the humans had shouted.
"Oh! Lordy Erebus! Grant us our wishes !"
"Enough humans. Truly what a disappointment.Such beings as yourselves dare to ask a god of destruction for your fortune?"
The god spoke. Xiao still watching from afar, curious on what the spoken God of chaos was going to do next.
"You pitiful creatures have the audacity to ask us Gods for wealth? Have some respect, you have nothing, but us to save you."
Said the Goddess and disappeared on the spot. Whispers were heard in the liyue harbour, about the unknown God, but the adeptus had no interest in figuring out who she is.
He needs to see her again.

Another day spent on saving humans in danger. Xiao is tired of saving lives that will most likely never achieve anything. He has finally returned to wangshu inn. It was late. The stars are shining brightly, yet the adeptus kept thinking about the raging Goddess. She was beautiful, her (h/l) (h/c) dancing with the wind, her pretty (e/c) eyes, and her speech. Yes, he admired her for feeling the same way about humans. After all, they always depend on Gods or the adepti to save them.
He wonders where she had gone. Is she still in Liyue, maybe she went to meet up with the Anemo archon in Mondstadt? Or maybe she went to Inazuma?
He doesn't know. Yet he has a feeling she is still somewhere around. In Liyue.
There's no reason to sit back and do nothing, he might as well go search for her right now.
He jumps out of the Wangshu Inns balcony, and starts looking for the goddess.
He looked around Cuijue Slope, Tianqiu Valley and even the Luhua pool. Where could she possibly be hiding? He has been searching for at least a few hours now.
By now he's on top of the Qingyun Peak. He picks up someones presence, he turns around, yet is met with nothing but a big pool- like hot springs.
He walks near the pool and touches the water, which was warm. Suddenly he hears someone speak up.
"Pervert much?"
His eyes widened. He quickly looks at the person who just spoke.
It was her. The beautiful goddess.... But she was completely naked.
The, now red, adeptus quickly turns away covering his face with his hands.
"I am not a pervert." He answers in a hushed tone.
"Oh? You were staring though, you can't hide the fact."
"Please put some clothes on..." he clearly wasn't in the mood to argue if he was a pervert or not.
"Chingyu, bring me my towel." Said the woman.
Chingyu? Who is she talking to? Xiao has never heard of anyone or anything called Chingyu. In fact he has never heard of the God of chaos either, yet something about her made him want to know more.
After a few minutes he turns back at her. She was wearing a beautiful kimono, making her look even prettier than before.
"Quit with the staring adeptus." She spoke up. The said adeptus had no idea how she even knew about him being one, but then again, she is a God.
"I am here to ask you about who you are and for what purpose have you appeared in Liyue. As an adeptus I've made an oath to protect the city of Liyue, and I will not let anyone get harmed by you."
Who was he fooling though? That was clearly not the reason why he went across the whole land for.
"Hm? Me? Hurt people in Liyue? Actually that does make sense. I do not blame you. But that is not the reason why I am here."
Said the God
"Oh? Then?"
"I do not see the necessarity of me telling you my reasons, but maybe, one day."
In this situation you couldn't tell if Xiao was pleased or disappointed with the answer.
"As for who I am. Call me (Y/N). I can't help but feel that the fate has great plans for us. Till we meet again, Adeptus Xiao."
And she once again has disappeared. He, yet again, didn't know how she knew his name, but he too himself could feel that in the future they were bound meet again.
