George had to be in Brackley the next day for meetings before the rest of the season would start. He made his way out of bed quite early while Willow was still deep asleep. It was Monday now and this Thursday he would already be on his way to Belgium. All of this couldn't have come at a worse time. The last thing he wanted to do right now was leave Willow alone.

George stood in the middle of his kitchen at 6.30 in the morning debating what to do next. He had to leave for his drive to the Mercedes HQs at 8 and before that he would have to figure out what to do.

The first thing that came to mind was calling Carmen, one of Willows best friends, but until she would get here we would need some time to explain the whole situation to her and he wasn't even sure if he was in a place to tell her all that. After another few minutes of debating and sipping on his tea meanwhile, George decided to call Alex again. He knew what had happened so George wouldn't have to explain and he trusted Alex.

Alex arrived at Georges apartment a few minutes before eight after he had brought Lando to his own apartment and laid him back in bed.

"Don't worry, George. We'll be fine here." Alex assured him as he refused to leave Willow.

"Thank you, Alex. Really, I can't thank you enough." George said as he finally made his way to his car.

"Please, let me help wherever I can." Alex waved goodbye to George and then closed the door and walked into the kitchen.

He put some water in the boiler and after looking through George's pantries and fridge he decided on making toast with butter and vanilla sugar, since there wasn't much else to be found.

With a big cup of tea and two slices of toast on a plate, Alex walked upstairs to the bedroom.
As he pushed the door open a little he caught a glimpse of Willow laying there. She was nuzzled into the blanket laying in her side with only her head sticking out. He couldn't tell if she was awake or asleep, but she wasn't moving even when he said a quiet breathy "good morning".

Alex walked over closer to her to put the food and drink on the nightstand beside Willow as he noticed her eyes were opened. They were open but they were fixed on the white wall to the left of the bed. Alex tried to make eye contact with her but it was like she didn't even notice him being there. Just staring at the white wall with these empty eyes.

He crouched down next to her to get his face to the same level as hers. "I brought you something to eat and a cup of tea. I'll be downstairs in the living room if you need anything. I am there for you, Willow." he spoke slowly and calm but his voice was slightly shaking at the worrying view of the poor girl in front of him.

Alex made himself comfortable in the living room and started working on his laptop. Willow never came downstairs and he decided to leave her in private, not bothering her too much, although every time he heard something rumble upstairs he debated going up there to check if she was still fine. He could never forgive himself if she did something to herself so he checked every hour if she was still good by walking upstairs just so far so he could look into the bedroom through the little gap where he didn't close the door all the way.
Each time he checked Willow was laying in bed, not moving beside her chest raising and sinking.

George returned at 8 in the evening and after thanking Alex a thousand more times he went home and George was left alone with Willow again.

He splashed some water in his face in the kitchen to wake himself up after the long drive and to wash off all the information from the meetings so he could fully focus on Willow right now.

George went upstairs to look what state she was in and found her sound asleep in bed with a half drunken cup of tea and two slices of toast, where she had only take two bites out of one, next to her. She looked so calm sleeping like this, but he knew the complete opposite was the case inside her head.
His heart hurt knowing she was going through something so terrible and his eyes teared up again at the thought of it.

He had to figure something out, quickly, he couldn't watch her go through this much longer but without her talking to anyone it was difficult.

Before going to bed George texted Carmen, to ask her to come over the next day. He didn't tell her anything about why he wanted to talk to her but when he said it was about Willow and that it was important she agreed to come over the next morning.
