Third person...
The door creaked open slowly, putting the image of the girl in full view.
She was young, about Tori's age, Charles thought. Short blonde hair, baby blue suit, and a worried face. She was a woman in training, a scared woman, yet still holding her head up high. She wasn't going to back down now. Not when she had finally gotten a taste.
"Im sorry, come again?" Charles asked.
"I'm Elizabeth Russo!" She yelled, and stormed into their house. The girl looked around out the house before shutting the door quietly. "I need your help." She said again.
"Your a Russo?" Aaron spoke up. Since the door opened, he hadn't been able to see the girl very well. Now, for a moment, he got her all to himself.
She looked at him, a small glance, but in that time, Aaron was able to play the memory game and win. Her once bright eyes were saturated now, full of guilt and regret.
The girl he had once cared for, loved, was a mess. But he remembered. It must have been the thing that pushed him to utter her name. A bold move, he would come to find out.
"Liz?" He said softly, and her eyes widened. Elizabeth's hand made a fist and tightened. No! She told herself, no. I need to control myself.
"Are you Aaron Cruz?" She asked him, her tone void of the bubbles she had years ago. Aaron was speechless.
"How do I know your not here for something else?" Charles asked. He remembered what Aurora went through, and he would be damned if he would make a mistake now. "How do I know your really a Russo?"
Elizabeth groaned and pulled out her phone. There was a picture of Vic and her, when she had first met him. She was so excited and blind about the news of being blood, she didn't think about the future. Yet, she couldn't seem to delete it either.
Charles eyes the picture and sighed. His mind got out of his thoughts and his eyes went to Tori.
"Hey, Tori, why dont you go to your room? Take Elizabeth too." He tried smiling, but it came out forced and full of pity. Tori nodded.
She kept her thoughts and emotions to herself for now. Tori brought Elizabeth into her room and invited her to sit. Elizabeth sat on the bed, hands in her lap as if she was in a school meeting. Tori sat on the chair. She could hear the start of a conversation between Charles and Aaron.
Finally, Tori opened her mouth.
"Your name is Elizabeth?" She asked.
"Yes..." Elizabeth answered shortly, wondering where she was going.
Tori got up and went to her drawer and pulled out a small blue envelope. She pulled out the letter and handed it to Elizabeth, who read it hesitantly.
"You kept it." She said slowly, and looked up to Tori with brighter eyes now.
"I remembered, and never forgot. I was stupid not to realize it was you." Elizabeth smiled and chuckled, then it went quiet. Soft voices were still talking. "And I was stupid to not recognize you."
"What?" Elizabeth asked quickly.
"Your Aaron's sister, arent you?" Tori asked, quite softly. It was more an accusation than a question. Elizabeth's face tightened.
"I don't know what your talking about."
"Oh, don't play dumb." Tori got up and now stood in front of her. "Aaron called you Liz, and you reacted. I'm not blind."
Elizabeth got up in a second and pushed a pocket knife to Tori's throat.
"I'm sorry, but if you dont keep your mouth shut, you will be. Dont make me take away your voice too."
