Third person...
The thin rays of sunlight bled through the curtains, adding some sort of comfort into the cool dawn. The sky was a saturated blue, so light yet so dull, Elizabeth was almost convinced by a feeling not to open the door. Almost.
It clicked, and there blocked the little sun, two big figures.
It didn't hit her like a truck, no, and she was amazed at how long it had take her to understand who was standing in front of her.
Jacob and Liam looked down at her with wide eyes and parted lips. That soon morphed into crossed brows and a frown.
"Who are you? Aaron?!" Jacob called out. "What is this you sick fuck?!"
Aaron rushed up to the door, pulling Elizabeth back and pushing her to Tori's room.
"Go, please." He whispered. She did, with sad eyes that peeked through the open door.
Aaron welcomed his brothers into the house, trying to calm their foul mood.
"It's great to see you guys again," he smiled.
"Yeah... but who was that?" Jacob asked.
"She looked like Elizabeth." Laim said.
"No. No, Elizabeth is gone, remember?" Aaron assured. He sat them down on the couch and took their luggage. "How long are you guys staying?"
"Well, until Liam has to go back to school." Jacob answered.
Elizabeth listened to their conversation, her ear against the door. She gasped, really hearing their voices. Her brothers voices, that have just been a memory for her for the longest time. She turned her back to the door and her eyes landed on Tori, who was wide awake.
She sat up on her bed, a worried face on her.
"You have to tell them, Elizabeth." She whispered. "It's going to kill you, slowly and painfully, if you keep it up inside. They want their sister back just as much as you want them."
"Are you sure your not just talking for them?"
"I know they feel that way!" Tori exlaimed, not too loud though. "They havent forgotten you. But they're believing a lie. You are too. That isn't fair."
Elizabeth sighed and peeked out the door again. There they were, three of her brothers, smiling and talking so casually. She wanted nothing more than to be a part of that again.
Quickly, she walked out of the room. Charles was right behind her though, and pulled her back.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"I'm going to come clean--I can't take it anymore. I'm not dead, im not gone I'm right here. Tori was right," She pulled away from Charles, "I need to stop living a lie."
Time seemed to slow down. The cold colors of the dawn were a calm ocean, taking her to what felt like destiny. No, no. It's too soon for destiny, she thought. But it was something. Her heart pounded, louder, harder and faster than ever before.
Aaron watched as she walked towards his brother's. Right then, he felt something much like she did too. A strong sense of right.
"Jacob, Liam..." She said to herself, noticing their features.
"Elizabeth, how do you know their names?" Aaron got up, walking slowly to her.
"I've missed you all so much... you look older, but... you still have that scar," She pointed to Jacob's cheek.
