Third person...
Aaron awoke with a headache. He assumed it was from his tears and his stress. Aaron tried to get up, but something held him down. It was Charles.
His golden hair was a big contrast from Aaron's chocolate colored hair. And their skins against eachother was like mixing caramel and sugar.
Aaron smiled at how peaceful he looked. It was almost enough to put him at ease himself.
He tried to move again, but failed. Summer was already here, and being hugged to death wasn't how Aaron would have liked to spend his Tuesday morning. It was steamy, and not in the good sense.
Aaron tried once more to slither off Charles' bed, but again, he failed miserably.
"Are you feeling better?" Charles suddenly asked, voice unused.
"Is it my exit ticket?" Aaron asked.
"Answer correctly, yes." Charles mumbled, ready to go back to sleep.
"I feel better, Charlie."
Charles snickered and rolled to the side, letting Aaron go before he was late for work. Charles slept for about five minutes before his alarm went off, and he arose like a zombie.
"I hate morning." He slurred, still tired from being stressed out. The feeling lingered on his back.
He got ready for work himself, and met Aaron in the hall. They had a silence between them, and neither man said anything, in hopes to not make it any more confusing than it already was. It was their mistake, not talking.
They headed towards the kitchen, and then stopped at the sight of Elizabeth. Aaron pulled Charles off to the side.
"Charlie, I kind of forgot about her."
"I did too, just for last night... what do we do?"
"I can't take her with me, you know that. Can you?" Aaron asked.
"Consequences... no, I can't."
Both of them looked over their shoulders to see her drinking orange juice, her hair disheveled, and her posture drooping. Nothing like what she was the day before.
"Should we send her with Tori?"
"I don't know... I don't want to," Aaron whispered, "but we can try. It can't be so bad, right?"
"Fine, I'll talk to the school."
With that, both of them broke away and went to different spaces. Charles went back to his room to talk, while Aaron tried to approach Elizabeth. Key word : tried.
"How did you sleep?" Aaron asked.
Without looking at him, Elizabeth sighed and said, "It was fine, thank you."
"You can sleep on the couch next time, if youd like. Boots can sleep outside."
Elizabeth looked up at him, with tired eyes. He could see her distress, her sadness and her will slowly starting to bleed out.
"Aaron, please don't treat me like you know me. Or that you care. I'm not, neither should you. I'm fine sleeping on the floor."
Aaron felt his heart rate quicken, and simply nodded. As rude as she was, Aaron was kind of happy she was. His sister used to be the same.
She went back to her silent drink and staring at nothing. She must have been thinking. About what, Aaron only hoped she would tell him.
"Elizabeth?" Charles called from the frame, "Your going to be going to school with Tori."
