Kabir's POV

"Thank you for giving me the oppurtunity, sir. My wife and my daughter will be so happy today," he said.

"Come at sharp 9 a.m. tomorrow, Tanmay," I told him as Kavya bid him goodbye and he left.

"He is talking as if he is the boss," she mumbled under her breathe but it was loud enough for me to hear.

I chuckled at what she said.

"Bye," she bid me goodbye and was leaving.

"Wait," I called her.

"I was waiting here for you for the past twenty minutes and you are bidding me goodbye?" I asked.

"You were waiting for me?" she seemed surprised.

"Yes."

"I was waiting to drop you at home," I told her the truth and she walked towards me.

"Why were you waiting for me?" she asked looking at me.

"I don't know. I just wanted to drop you home."

"You don't have to. Please leave Kabir," she said and was leaving but I held her wrist.

She turned around and looked at me and pulled her hands away from my grip.

"What is your problem?" I shouted.

"My problem? What is your problem? Why are you after me? What do you want from me?" she shouted back.

"I don't want anything from you," I told her.

"Then why are you after me? I am just your brother's teacher. Will you wait for some other teacher for fifteen to twenty minutes. No, right? Then why are you waiting for me?" she yelled.

"Will you ask some other teacher's phone number? No, right? Then why were you asking for my phone number that day? I am just your brother's teacher," she continued and once again left the place before I could say something.

*****

I went back in my car and hit the steering wheel hardly.

"Bhaiya, are you okay?" Raj asked.

I looked at him and tried to smile but failed miserably.

She is right.

Why do I want to stay close to her?

Before her, I have never done something like this.

Then, what is so special about her?

I came out of my thoughts and started the car.

We were both silent the whole drive as Raj knew I was not in a good mood.

After almost fifteen minutes we reached our house and I dropped Raj and went to the hotel even though he insisted to have lunch with him as I was already late.

*****

I could not focus on my work as her words were roaming in my head.

I asked Mr. Raut to come another day to discuss the opening of the hotel in another state.

She is right.
