Kavya's POV
I woke up to find myself wrapped in Kabir's arms. It took me a second to realize where I was. I turned around and looked at Kabir and my heart broke for him. How much has he suffered in such a young age. He pulled me so close that there was not even an inch of gap between. He snuggled into my neck. So, this is how my colleagues feel with their husbands. This feeling feels so foreign and new to me.
Shit! What am I thinking? I pushed his hands and got up and got down from the bed.
'You got up?' Kabir also woke up and sat on the bed. I turned around to look at him. He wore his shirt.
'Yes. Sorry, you also woke up because of me,' I said and he just looked at me and shrugged.
'Now, we have to wait for him to come so we have to give him the keys and then we can leave. Finally, the rain has stopped,' he said as he opened the window of the room.
'Yes. Finally,' I sighed and sat on the bed.
'Sorry, you have to suffer so much because of me,' he said as he sat beside me.
'It's okay. Now, I just want him to come so that we can leave from here,' he said and that time, we heard a knock and Kabir hurriedly went and opened the shutter and the shopkeeper came inside. I got out of the room to see that Kabir is giving him the keys and after that, without saying anything we left the shop as we both were angry at him for blackmailing us last night.
'Finally,' he looked at the sky and took a deep breathe.
'Are you okay now?' I asked him.
'Yes. I am okay now.'
I took his hand in mine. 'Yesterday was a tough day for you. I am glad that you are okay,' I said and he gave me a small smile and we started walking towards his house.
After some time, I realized that he has not left my hand and in that second, I realized that I don't want him to leave my hand. I am happy that he has hold my hand. We were walking silently without saying a word. As soon as we reached the house, we saw his princes standing at the gate. As soon as she saw us, she came running towards us and hugged Kabir which resulting him to leave my hand.
'Where were you? We were so worried about you,' she asked as Kabir started caressing her back.
'Princess, I am fine now,' he said and broke their hug.
'All night we didn't sleep as we were worried about you. Raj cried the whole night,' she told him and tears started rolling down her cheeks.
'Don't ever scare us like that again,' she shouted at him and was still crying.
