Season 2: Training for the Sports Festival

Y/n POV

Me: Okay Midoriya that's enough for now!

Midoriya: Eh! But I can still go!

Me: You can but not me. Plus, Momo is coming right now with our drinks.

Currently, me and alongside Momo and Izuku were training in Momo's dojo. It's been a week since the Sports Festival announcement and everyone were keeping tabs with their progress. Midoriya however were abysmal at best. He doesn't have any knowledge about martial arts so he had to start from scratch. Thank god for Momo who had martial arts books for him to use as references.

Momo: Hey babe. I'm here with some drinks. Hope you like Gatorade's orange flavor.

She came inside the dojo with our drinks. Her parents were kind enough for us to use their home's dojo as our training area. Just a side note, Momo wearing that workout leggings and a sports bra were really a turn on.

Me: Anything you served will always be liked by me~

Momo: Now now don't be a sweet boy. We need to focus on training Midoriya-san. Speaking of, how's your quirk doing?

Midoriya: Oh! Um, right now I'm still having problem with my quirk. But it's okay! I mean at least I'm learning on some fighting styles. So, um thank you again!

He smiled and bowed at us. But from what we saw, it was a sad smile. Probably from the discrimination he received for being quirkless. Momo and I frowned knowing these kind of people still exists.

Momo: You don't have to bow Midoriya-san. It's what friends do. Looking from it, I can see that you're training your best for the festival.

Me: But that's exactly the problem Momo.

Momo: Hm? What do you mean?

Me: That's just it. He's not training to improve himself. He's training on becoming like All Might.

Both of them looked at me like I just grew a second head. The problem with Midoriya was he's imitating All Might instead of being himself. Since One For All was passed down to him, he's making it like it's All Might's quirk instead of his. 

Me: Midoriya, ever since you got that quirk, what's the first thing that comes to mind? And no muttering. Use only one sentence. I swear to God your quirk can be 'Muttering'.

Momo shared a giggle while Midoriya had a dark cloud on his head.

Midoriya: Um, the quirk was made for All Might to increase his strength and speed. 

Me: Good. And what were you doing?

Midoriya: I'm using it like All Might asked-

Me: Ah stop! And that's where you're wrong.

I interrupted him before he can finished his sentence. That's the problem with Midoriya. He's trying too hard to imitate and followed his orders blindly. Not to bash on All Might, he's a phenomenal hero. But he's an absolute trash when it comes to teaching. I don't know how U.A. hired him as a teacher. Like seriously, who used a freaking script during class!

Midoriya: What do you mean Y/n?

Me: You're not All Might.

Midoriya: Huh? Of course I'm not.
