Dance in the rain. Just do it.

I woke up with a groan, my eyelids heavy. There are two days until Halloween, and I was still struggling to find a costume. Slytherin throws their annual halloween party in the common room, and there's an award for best costume.

I've never won it. Couples costumes always win. Especially when the judges are horny girls.

I stretch out my limbs and stand up to get ready for the day. I took a quick shower, doing my normal routine before going down to the Great Hall for breakfast. I wasn't pleased with the way I looked when woke up this morning, so I wasn't planning on eating.

I made it to the entrance, where I saw Draco, Theo, Blaise and Pansy sitting at the usual table. I was pleased that Astoria wasn't there. The whole situation with her taking our picture got completely disregarded due to Umbridge's new rules and regulations for the school. No one had the time or patience for gossip anymore. Everyone was too busy trying to live up to Umbridge's expectations. Astoria doesn't really talk to much anymore.

I sat down at the table, the smell of the breakfast options already making me nauseous. "Hi babes." Pansy said, giving me a side hug. Draco sat in front of me, Theo to his right and Blaise to his left. I gave her a small "Hi" before moving the empty plate that was placed in front of me over, getting a book out and starting to read.

"Cora, are you going to eat?" I heard Draco ask. I took a quick glance up to meet his blue hues, but immediately looked back down. "No, I'm not really hungry right now." I said, praying and hoping he would leave it alone. "Okay, well, make sure you eat at lunch." He voiced, and I nodded slightly.

After everyone was done eating we made our way to classes. They were a bore. We didn't do anything special. I didn't end up going to lunch, instead isolated in the back of the library, reading my current book.

I was now in my dorm, trying to do Potions work. I was having plenty trouble focusing though. Not sure what's wrong with me today. It was almost time for dinner, and as I went to get up I got really dizzy. I saw spots in my vision, bracing myself as they slowly went away, taking a deep breath and brushing it off.

I debated on what to snack on at dinner so people won't get confused on to why I'm not eating. I think a few mashed potato's and a bread roll would be fine.

I got through the entrance of the Great Hall and found my group of friends conversing and laughing at our normal table. I sat down next to Pansy, going in for a scoop of mashed potato's and putting them on my plate.

Everyone said their greetings, and went back to talking about their shitty classes and assignments. I picked at my potato's every few minutes while I talked to Pansy.

I could feel his eyes on me. He sat next to Blaise who was across from me, Theo being on Blaise's other side. I paid no attention to him, continuing to listen to Pansy's new situation with a 6th year Slytherin; who I had already forgotten the name of.

After dinner was over, we all made our way back to the common room, as Theo and Draco made their usual crude remarks to the younger years, and the Gryffindors. I roll my eyes at their lack of maturity.

As we approached the dungeons, I saw Draco tell Theo and Blaise that he would meet them in the common room, and that he had to talk to Snape for a minute. I told Pansy that I was gonna go for a walk, to clear my head, and we can hangout in my dorm tonight. I let her go and starting walking back up to the ground floor to sit in the courtyard.

I got to my signature bench, bringing my legs up to my chest and laying my head down, shivering from the late October cold.

"What are you doing?" I heard. I gasped and jumped from the voice. I met my eyes with his grey ones that were glowing in the moonlight. My heart relaxed when I realized it wasn't a professor. He came over to me and sat next to me on the bench. "What's on your mind? I can tell that something's bothering you."

I let my head lean onto his shoulder. "Nothing's wrong." I lied, although it was a long shot; Draco knows me very well. But to my dismay, "Yeah, sure. You've always been a terrible liar." He chuckled, wrapping his arms around my shoulders.

I sighed. "I don't know. I can't really explain it." He nodded slightly, "I understand. Just know you can tell me anything."

We sat in a comfortable silence until I felt a few cold droplets hit my arm. I tried to brush it off until raindrops were falling every second. I dropped my legs down, going to stand up. "What are you doing?" Draco asked. I grabbed his cold, soft hand and pulled him off the bench, walking out from under the small awning we were under, immediately getting soaked by rain.

He was trailing behind me by a few steps, until I yanked his arm and let myself fall into his chest, to which he picked me up and spun me around in the air, making me squeal.

We both laughed and danced until we were completely soaked and shivering, where we ended up in the damp grass, holding hands. I looked over to Draco, making him look at me.

I lifted my hand up to his cheek, leaning my head in slightly. Our foreheads touched, then he moved in closer so our noses were touching, and we were sharing breaths.

Then his lips smashed onto mine.

He grabbed my hips, making me move to straddle his lap, pulling my head to closer to him. He started to stand up, allowing me to fully wrap my legs around his torso, never disconnecting our lips. My hands went to untuck just shirt from his trousers, when he stopped me. "Not here." He whispered.

I nodded, and he let me down. I caught my breath for a second, then I grabbed his hand and connected it to mine, pulling him back down to the dungeons. As we were going through one of the corridors, we heard a meow. We both gasped, turning our heads towards the sound. We saw Filch's cat turn the corner, followed by Filch himself.

"Hey! Show Yourselves!"

Draco grabbed my upper arm, "C'mon, C'mon!"
We both laughed as we ran down the corridor, looking back every few seconds to see if Filch was still following us. We ran all the way back to the common room, with Filch still yelling for us to stop. We yelled the password as the painting shot open, and we rushed through it, finally catching our breaths.

We glanced at each other and started cracking up again, me going in for a hug, squeezing him tight. "Thank you."

"For what?" He questioned. "For making me feel better. Somehow you always manage to do it. I don't know how." He smiled, pecking my lips before we reconnected our hands and made our way to his dorm.

He gave me an oversized shirt to wear, while we both changed and made our way into bed, cuddled up to each other.
