Verna Tansmia did not know what she should suspect when she first stepped foot into the Night Court.
Murder, death and horror. That was what her Father told her.
Love, honor and family. What was what Circe told her. However, Circe did also tell Verna to take a handful of nuts and throw them at Lilith just to see her puff up.
But what they both did not tell her, was that it was beautiful. The place itself seemed to be made out moonstone, and Verna was sure that she saw a waterfall coming off the side of the mountain that led into a bath. The mountains that were just outside the room, tall and strong made Verna look at them with wonder.

"Is this the first time you have been close enough to touch one?" A female said behind Verna.

She had arrived just twenty minutes ago, and she found herself looking at them since. Three beautiful mountains rising up from the ground.  Verna turned around and saw the High Lady Of the Night Court, dressed in a deep purple. So deep it was almost black.

"High Lady." Verna said. "Your home is very nice. And to answer your question, yes, it is."

"Thank you, dear." Feyre said. "I heard that Lucien brought you. You must tell the High Priestess Circe that she is allowed to bring you here, we don't want to bother Lucien."

"I'm sure that we do not bother Lucien." Verna whispered. "I'm sure he likes the extra time away from Julian."

"Even then," Feyre laughed. "the ban is lifted from Circe Van Rosenburg's head." Feyre said. "She's allowed into the Night Court."

"I did not understand why she could not anyway." Verna spat. Putting her back onto the wall.

"Circe has many story's to tell. Some of which will never see the light of day, I'm sure. But still. . .shes a High Priestess and a princess in her own right." Feyre said. "She should be treated as such. Even if she feed my allergic daughter nuts."

"Mmm." Verna replied.

Feyre only nodded her head before walking away to speak with her two children. Both Nyx and Lilith sat before the fireplace. Erica, the Heiress to the Winter Court, sat next to Lilith, her white hair in a tight bun. Her ice blue eyes meet Feyre's and she nodded her head.

"Miss Erica," Feyre said smiling. "Children. Now that everyone has arrived I will leave you be. If you need anything, I will only a few doors down to the left doing paperwork."

And with that the High Lady walked out of the room, a smile on her beautiful face.

"Your mother is a joy as always." Erica said smiling. "Makes me wonder, how ones own mother might react. Oh! That reminds me, it's our go in a few weeks! I have so many things planned, you will love it Lily!"

"Indeed." Nyx smiled. "Tarquin said he does not mind playing host as long as Lilith does not try and take his jewels."

"It was one time and I was five!" Lilith moaned crossing her arms. "Plus, I gave them back."

"Only a few months ago." Nyx added with a small laugh. "I was positive that he or you must
of forgotten about them."

Verna was only half listening to their conversation, she was more interested in the mountains and the landscape that made them. However, when an tall male walked in and said his last name was Acheron, Verna turned her head. The male was tall, with tan skin much like Lilith's. His brown hair was down to his shoulders with eyes as blue as the sea. But what made Verna interested was the fact that he had two large wings behind him.

"Cousin." Lilith said. "I believe this luncheon was for us heirs."

Cousin. Yes, Verna remembered now. This was Sails Acheron, the only child of Feyre's older sister Nesta. While Verna had only meet Nesta once, they never spoke to one another. And never before had Verna seen Sails or even spoke to him.
