"I thought I said I'm not sharing a room with you." Verna moaned. "And I'm taking this silly hat off. I don't want lice."
"It's the only room they had." Nyx answered her as they walked the small hallway to the room. "And don't worry, you will not get lice."
"How do you know?" Verna hissed. "And I'm taking it off. Where did you even get this thing."
"I stole it."
"Ny—"
But before Verna could say anything, Nyx put his hand to her mouth. "Shh." He said. "It would be a bit strange if two heirs were in this. . .inn. Not only that none of us are heirs to the Winter Court. We are Spring and Night, which will make it weirder."
"Circe is a Winter Court daughter by her grandfather, Solis Elfinson." Verna whispered. "Some people here are loyal to their claim on the throne. I'm sure if I ask anyone, tell them who I am to Circe, tell them to—"
"They will take you to the High Lord to be hanged for treason."
"Either way it's a win." Verna pointed out before smiling slightly. However the smile went as the door to their room opened. "Really?"
"I only had a few coins on me. It's not my fault I did not see us getting lost." Nyx answered.
Their room was tiny. The size of his bathroom at home. On one wall there was a fireplace, and a single candle on top. Not one of them was lit. And the bed. . .
"Fuck this!" Verna yelled. "I would rather freeze to death."
"It's not that bad."
"It's a single bed." Verna hissed. "A double I might consider. But a single! I don't even think it's that."
"Your such a snob." Nyx moaned. "When i was training I did not even have that. But. . .if you want to sleep on the floor be my guest."
"Fuck you." Verna yelled. "I'm a lady. I will take the bed and you the floor. And if I get lice, I will kill you!"
"If you get lice, Verna dear, I will allow you to kill me." Nyx laughed. "However, I will not be sleeping on that floor. So we shall share the bed."
"Nope." Verna said. "Not in ten years. Not in a hundred not even in a thousand. I'm not sharing a bed with you. Ever!"
"Come now Verna," Nyx said putting his arm around her shoulders. "It shall be fun."
"You and me clearly have two different ideas off fun." Verna said closing the door. "If you touch me I will kill you."
"Such big words, for such a small girl."
Nyx let out a scream of pain as Verna punched him in the stomach.

"You lost my daughter!" Tamlin yelled hitting the table. "I should kill you because of this."
"Please Tamlin." Feyre said. "Verna is not the only one missing. She is with Nyx."
"Like I should feel better about that!" Tamlin yelled.
As soon as Erica and Lilith saw that Nyx and Verna where gone, Erica had gone to her parents. Now each of the High Lords and Lady where in the Winter Court, trying to find out what the should do. Two heirs had gone missing on the watch of another heir.
"I told you someone should of gone with them." The lady of the autumn court said, looking at her eldest son who had come in place of his father. Beron deeming the meeting to unimportant for him. 'They are just probably fucking somewhere, leave them to it.' Beron was claimed to said when new of the meeting came to him.
"Mother, I'm sure they are fine." Eris replied. "I know Verna, she's stronger then she looks. I'm sure she is fine Tamlin. And Nyx. . .is well Nyx and both of them will survive the night if they stay together."
"I don't want my daughter to be anywhere near your son." Tamlin said looking at Rhysand.
"Trust me, Tamlin, I don't want Nyx near Verna." The High lord of the Night Court replied.
"We shall look in the morning." The High lord of the Winter Court said.
"The morning!?" Yelled Tarquin. "What if something happens to them? They would have to wait hours for help."
"We have eyes and ears around the court looking for them." Replied Vivienne. "If anyone of our spy's so much as thinks they see them, a letter will be sent to us right away."
"That's right." Kallista agreed with his wife and mate. "They shall be fine. We just need to pray."
"Pray!" Tamlin yelled. "My only daughter could be dead! And you want me to pray!? Tell me, if it was Erica that was missing would you want me to say that? My Verna could be rotting somewhere, everyone knows that happens to daughters of High Lords just because men like to prove a point." A single nod from all the men. Even Rhys. Everyone remembered the Westa sisters, everyone remembered Rhys sister, Everyone remembered the woman whose portrait was now looking down at them, Sabrina Elfinson. "Nyx will be fine because he is a man. He is not in the same danger as Verna is. If it was Erica missing, should you want me to say that?"
"No, Tamlin I would not." The High lord of the winter Court said. "But we have no idea where they are or where they went. Their scent was at the clearing in the woods to suggest that they stayed their for a while. However, it moved and now we cannot find it."
"Then look harder." Tamlin snapped.
"We will. Until that time, please stay. Our home is yours. Until your children are found." Vivienne said.

Verna was moaning in her sleep or perhaps talking. And Nyx tried his hardiest not to think about it, or how her soft voice made his cock rise in his leather trousers. They had agreed that Verna should take the bed and Nyx sleep on the floor. After about an hour, they worked out how to light the fireplace and to keep it light all night. They had moved the candle to the near by bedside table, and how it lit up Verna's sleeping face in the darkness off the room. She looked beautiful. Nyx rose onto his feet, his best bet was to find a bathroom and deal with this problem that was currently growing larger and larger. He was about to turn to the locked bedroom door when Verna opened her green eyes.
"Stay." She said.
So he did.
