Nyx Artemis was never wake to watch the dawn, yet today he was. He watch it in the arms of Savanna, who had woken him up from his sleep just so that they could watch it.

"The shadows have been whispering." Savanna spoke, the red of the dawn went well with the red in her heir. "Again."

"What do they say this time?" Nyx asked.

Like her father, Savanna was a shadow-singer. She could hear and talk to the shadows and other things that Nyx would only dream about seeing. Like how the wind whispered to the Van Rosenburg line, the shadows whispered to Savanna. Savanna smiled as she called the light towards her, making it glow from every angle on her body. And now, in her nakedness, it seemed perfect. They had just finished a few minutes before, but still they did not want to get up. He had taken her, right on this roof.

"Nothing," Savanna laughed. "They never say anything. Nothing of importance anyway."

"What did they say today? Before you come and woke me." Nyx asked laughing.

"'It shall be on the day that the true ruler of the bloodline is crowned, shall a new age of peace and justice be brought into the land. Only when a child born of night seed in springs womb shall true war stop.' As I said it makes no sense." Savanna laughed. "I even asked Elain, but as always she never answered me."

"Elain. . .my aunt."

"Don't. Nyx I know why she does not like me, she feels that my mother stole my father away from her. Which was not the case." Savanna laughed once more, a slow sad laugh. "I cannot allow you to live believing that me and her one day might be friends. Because it simply will not happen."

"I can hope, darling." Nyx said placing a kiss onto Savanna's forehead. "I must go, before my mother starts looking for me."

"We cannot keep the High Lady waiting."

"No, we cannot."

Nyx kissed her lips before opening his arms and falling on the side of the binding. He let himself fear his body's natural sense of danger, let his heart panic for a split moment before he allowed his wings to open. He turned in mid air and flew back up, bowing a kiss at Savanna.

"You don't have to be so dramatic all the time." Savanna yelled.

"Oh but it's fun!" Nyx yelled back.

Savanna rolled her golden eyes, Nyx smirked. But even as Nyx flew away, he wondered about the words that Savanna spoke about. Their meaning, or if it meant anything at all. When he arrived back into him bedchamber, he wrote the words down again and again. He wrote it until his hand started to hurt. Then it hit him, like a horse and carriage. True one reveals herself, he thought that meant Verna. It was the only female he knew off that could cause the end of time, or birth a new age for the world itself.

"High Priestess, a word. That's all I need." Nyx said as he stood in the meadow.

She was stood there now, Circe herself. Her long red hair going down to her waist, her blue dress going to the floor. It looks could kill, Nyx already would of been dead.

"A word?" Circe laughed. "You Artemis's do not understand the meaning of that. Nor fuck off it seems."

"I'm a heir, you cannot talk to me that way."

Circe only laughed at his words, "my dear, so was I. Speak Nyx, or I shall take your tongue."

"I overheard a prophecy, I believe it to be about Verna." Nyx started.

Circe moved her head, so fast he could almost not see it. She was now looking at him. Her ancestor, Inky Van Rosenburg, was called Inky the Fury, and it was said that her angry passed through the generations of her children. Looking at Circe now, Nyx fully believed it. If he had been younger or without a name to protect him, he was sure that he would have pissed himself right then and there and beg for mercy. Beg that Circe did not take him apart but by bit with the wind that was now pulling Nyx closer to Circe.

"What." Circe hissed, her voice like death. For a silent second Nyx feared that Circe would kill him. For a silent second he feared that his life was just about to end. "Did you hear?" Circe said, the lowness of her voice said it even more terrifying. Nyx was silent, not daring to speak. He swore that he might of pissed himself a little or just unlocked a new kink. "If," Circe said slowly. "If you don't say anything, I will gut you like a fish and send your head back to your mother and father. Understood?" Nyx nodded slowly. "Good boy, now, tell me what you heard?"

"'It shall be on the day that the true ruler of the bloodline is crowned, shall a new age of peace and justice be brought into the land. Only when a child born of night seed in springs womb shall true war stop'" Nyx said slowly, fear in his voice. "That's all she was told."

"Who?" Circe said slowly.

"Savanna."

"Savanna!" Circe yelled. "Your whore?"

"My lover. A wife one day perhaps."

"Bah!" Circe yelled. "She shall not be your wife, your wife is here. Already waiting for you to come and save her."

"Who is my wife?"

"You all ready know who, and you fear it."
