~Hayes' POV~

A few days in Ohio away from everything was just what I needed, but now I had to go back to California, but Aaron was begging me to stay.

"It's hard to keep a secret" I said giggling

"Hayes don't leave me all alone in this hotel, these sheets will hide us from the streets. One weekend I promise that I'll never tell" he said smiling

He knew the song just as well as I did. We were quoting the song 'Change Your Ticket' by One Direction. Eventually I did leave and took my miserable flight back to California. It was only miserable because Nash was making Carter pick me up from the airport. I could call an uber and Nash knows it. Sometimes I swear he just does things to piss me off. That has nothing to do with the flight, but I was thinking about it the whole flight which made me feel sick.

When I got there I got my bags and went to where Carter said he would be and sure enough he was at Starbucks inside the airport. I walked to him.

"Can you take me to Can and Nash's now I don't feel good" I said

"You're still mad huh?" Carter asked walking towards the exit of the airport.

I didn't say anything, I just wanted to go home.

~Carter's POV~

I could tell that Hayes was sick. I was there for him when he was really sick back in North Carolina. He was pale and his eyes were red. When we got in the car I put my hand on his forehead.

"What the hell are you doing?" He asked his cheeks red. I found it cute how a single touch from me could make him blush.

"You're burning up Hayes." I said driving off toward Nash and Cam's when I got there. Hayes got out of the car and he got his bag and walked inside.

They say you don't know you miss somthing 'til it's gone and I, Carter Reynolds miss Benjamin Hayes Grier
