4 MONTHS AGO
It was a cold september morning around 6:30. I had to be at work in 20 minutes, just enough time to get a coffee. Why I agreed to do the Radio 1 breakfast show I don't know, I hate mornings. I stepped into Starbucks and breathed in the fresh smell of coffee. There's nothing like a nice cup of coffee to wake you up in the morning.
Suddenly someone bumped into me causing the papers with all my notes for the radio show on to fly out of my hands, one landing in a small puddle of coffee.
"Oh my god, i'm so sorry!" The person said bending down to help me pick the paper up.
"Questions for Mcfly." The person read out from one of the papers. I had an interview with them on my radio show that morning. I can't say I wasn't exited, they were my favourite band! I looked up to see none other than Dougie Poynter looking right at me. "Oh yeah i'm interviewing them, i mean you in-" I looked at my watch "30 minutes."
"So you must be Evie, nice to meet you. I listened to your show the other day it was brilliant!" Dougie said collecting the last of the papers and giving me a quick hug.
"Thank you! Nice to meet you to." I replied
"I'm sorry about the papers. Let me buy you a coffee." He offered
"It's okay, you don't have to."
"No, I insist."
We brought our coffees, to takeaway, and walked out of Starbucks.
"Thanks for the coffee." I said
"No problem, it was the least I could do." Dougie replied
"Do you want to walk with me to Radio 1?" I asked
"Yeah sure."
We began the 10 minute walk to Radio 1, drinking our coffees along the way.
