I knocked on Carries door. We were travelling to the cinema together seeing as I was still quite new to London and didn't know where it was. "Hello." She said opening the door.
10 minutes later we arrived at the cinema. Tom, Harry, Danny and Dougie were already there. We exchanged hugs and hellos, brought our tickets and headed inside. Carrie had explained the story on the way so I had a vague idea of what was happening.
The film was amazing. A few of the songs had got stuck in my head so unfortunately I was singing them for the rest of the evening, much to the annoyance of the others.
"I need the loo." Danny said after we had been walking for a while to no place in particular.
"Typical. You always need it when were nowhere near a toilet." Harry said shaking his head.
"My house is only a few streets away, we can go there if you want." I suggested recognising the area.
"Yes please!" Danny said
We walked to my house and I unlocked the door.
"Hello?" I shouted to see if anyone is in. No reply.
I showed Danny where the toilet was and left him to it.
"Would you like any drinks?" I asked the others who were sat on the sofas in the lounge.
"Yes please." I made them all drinks and sat on the sofa next to Tom. I turned on the TV and Eastenders was on. Unfortunately I couldn't find the remote to change it. So we ended up spending the whole episode criticising it.
Suddenly Alex appeared in the doorway.
"Hello Alex." I said
"Hello." He said wondering why there was a load of people he's never met in his lounge.
"Oh, Alex this is Tom, Danny, Dougie and Harry. There in a ban-" I said getting cut off.
"McFly yeah I know." He said bluntly
"Okay... This is Alex, my fiancée."
There was a murmur of hellos from the boys.
"Can I speak to you in the kitchen please." Alex said walking into the kitchen. I followed him and shut the door behind me.
"I got the dates for the buisness trips." He said pulling a folded piece of paper out from his back pocket and handing it to me. He often had to go away on buisness trips, much to my annoyance, but hey someone has to do it.
I unfolded it and read the dates scribbled down on it.
November 15th - November 22nd
January 1st - January 5th
"Hang on. My birthday is 16th November and the 2nd one is a week before the wedding!" I said annoyed.
"I know and I'm sorry. I can't do anything about it."
"I'm sure your boss wouldn't mind changing the second one if you told him you had a frickin wedding the next week!"
"I told you, I can't do anything about it!"
"For gods sake Alex!" I said slamming the piece of paper down on the worktop.
Yeah I know I may of have over reacted just a little bit but you'd be annoyed if your fiancée decided to go away a WEEK before your wedding. That's like the most stressful time of the whole wedding planning procedure!
I stormed out of the room and into the lounge where I expected to see the boys and Carrie sitting on the sofas but they wernt. Confused, I pulled out my phone ready to text them when out of the corner of my eye I spotted a note on the coffee table. I picked it up and began to read it
Sorry that we didn't say goodbye, we thought it would be best not to interupt...
It was nice hanging out, we should do it again soon. Thanks for the drinks!
I smiled and text them all saying: It was nice hanging out to. We should definately do it again sometime. See you soon!
