"Evie... Evie..." Someone said shaking me gently. I slowly opened my eyes to see Barak Obama right it my face.
"Ahhh!" I screamed jumping up.
Dougie burst out laughing. What? Ohhh it was a mask....
"Dougie!" I shouted
"Your face!" He replied failing to stifle his laughter.
"It's not funny!"
"Yes it is!" I looked around the room. The blinds were drawn and there was popcorn all over the floor. I must have knocked the bowl of the sofa when I jumped up. Oops.
"Did I fall asleep on your shoulder last night?" I asked
"Yep. Cup of tea?" He asked casually walking into the kitchen.
"Yes please." I got on my knees and began to scoop the knocked over popcorn back into the bowl before taking it into the kitchen where Dougie was pouring hot water from the kettle in to 2 mugs. I set the bowl down on the worktop.
"Can you get the milk out of the fridge please?" Dougie asked.
"Yeah." I said opening the fridge "Oh there isn't any milk, or any food on that matter."
"Oh I forgot to go shopping yesterday. Oh and I’ve got a photo shoot in an hour and a half do you want to come watch then we can go food shopping afterwards?"
"Okay! I'll just go get dressed." I said running up the stairs to the spare room. I changed out of my pj's and into some denim jeans and a dark green top. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Wow, my hair was a mess. I quickly brushed it and put on some mascara and eyeliner before pulling on a pair of black boots. I went back downstairs where Dougie was waiting by the front door.
"Ready?" He asked as I put on my coat.
“Yep.” I replied as he opened the front door. We went down the steps and clambered into his car, Dougie in the driver’s seat. We drove for around 10 minutes before arriving at this studio place. Dougie parked the car out the back and we entered the building through the back door. As we entered the room where the photo’s would be taken I tripped on a wire and fell straight into someone. “Oh my god, I’m so sorry.” I said
“Don’t worry it’s okay.” A familiar voice said.
“Oh hello Gi!” I said recognizing the voice as Gi’s, Tom’s wife.
“Typical you’ve only been here 2 seconds and you’ve already fallen over!” Danny joked
“You can’t say much!” Harry said guesterring to a smashed glass in the corner.
“That was an accident!”
“Sure it was..”
Danny then went on to tell me and Gi the story of how he ‘accidently’ smashed the glass whilst the others went and got ready (Danny was already ready).
“So what brings you here?” He asked
“Oh Alex and I had a fight so I’m staying with Dougie for a bit.” I replied
“Oh, what happened?” Gi asked
I had just finished explaining to Danny and Gi what had happened when Tom, Harry and Dougie entered the room. The photographer ushered them and Danny over to where a white screen was positioned. He then began telling them where to stand and what poses to do.
Whilst the photographer was snapping away Gi and I sat in the corner chatting.
“So what’s happening with the wedding?” She asked. Oh yeah, the wedding! I completely forgot about that… hmm what is happening with the wedding?
“Oh umm I’m not sure to be honest. I think I’ll talk to Alex tomorrow.” I replied
We chatted for at least an hour until the photo shoot had finished.
“Do you wanna come round ours for a drink or something?” Tom asked Dougie and I as we all made our way out of the building.
“Na, we’ve got to go food shopping. Thanks anyway.” Dougie replied getting out his car keys. We said goodbye to everyone before driving off towards the nearest supermarket.
