Chapter 10 - Concert

A/N Hello! So before I start I just have to say there is a swear word in this chapter so don't read it if you are offended by swear words.

It was around 7:30am and I was sat in Radio 1 doing the breakfast show when Hazel , who worked at radio 1, held up my phone through the window and indicated I had a text. She looked particulary exited and she never did this unless it was an important text. We wern't alowed phones in the studio because they interupted with the equiptment or something so I always gave my phone to ? and said to let me know if I ever got an important text. I rounded off the topic we were on and set it to play 2 songs in a row before taking off my headphones and leaving the studio.

"Sorry to interupt." Hazel apoligized passing me my phone. I unlocked it to see a text from Danny

Wanna come to our concert at the O2 tonight? :)

"Yeah, I wasn't sure whether it was important but I thought you ought to know." She said

"Thanks Hazel." I said typing out a reply

Yes please! Thanks :)

Almost imediately Danny text back saying Okay! Did you wanna bring your friends, I can't rememeber there names, who you said like our music and stuff?

Yeah okay, they'd love that!

Okay see ya later!

As soon as I finished work I raced home and skyped my friends Kat and Hayley

"Hey guys I hope your not doing anything today because you need to get the next train to London." I said way to fast

"Umm okay, why?" Kat asked

"Well..... you know I'm friends with Mcfly and that." I said

"Yes...." Hayley said confused

"Well Danny texted me to ask if I wanted to go to their concert at the O2 tonight and he said to invite you!" I said exitedley

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Kat and Hayley screamed

"We're actually going to a Mcfly concert! I'm so exited!!!!!" Kat exclaimed almost knocking her laptop off her lap.

"A train leaves in half an hour. Kat do you reckon we can make it?" Hayley asked

"Yeah. We'll see you in a bit Evie!" Kat said signing out

2 hours had passed and I was standing in Waterloo Station avoiding the pigeons, I hated pigeons, and waiting for Kat and Hayleys train to arrive. I couldn't wait to see them again, I hadn't seen them in ages. I was beginning to get impatient when I spotted them bussling through the barriers.

"Evie!" They shouted running towards me and ungulfing me in a hug.

"I've missed you guys so much!" I said

"We've missed you to!"

"Come on then lets go back to my house!" I said leading them towards the tube. They questioned me about everything and anything along the way. What are they like? (Mcfly) Have you ever heard them sing in real life? How's Alex? What's it like living in London?

We were just reaching my front door when my phone started ringing. It was Dougie.

"Alright Evester?" He said through the phone

"Evester? Really?" I questioned

"Yeah. About tonight, you can come early if you like say around 5 and hang with us backstage till the concert starts at 7. We'll drop off the pass thingys you'll need to get in on the way to sound check later."

"Sound's good, Dougster." I replied opening the door and ushering Kat and Hayley in, closing it behind them.

"Ok, see ya later!" He finished before hanging up.

"Let's get ready for this concert then!" I said running up the stairs followed by Kat and Hayley. We changed into our outfits, I was wearing denim jeans with a purple top and a denim jacket, and did our make-up, just a thin line of eyeliner, some mascara and lip gloss. I curled my long brown hair and let it hang loose over my shoulders.

5 o'clock

"Just through there." The security guard said pointing us in the direction towards the dressing roomsy. Kat and Hayley were beside themselves. Then again they were about to meet the McFly, who wouldn't be! We reached the dressing rooms and I knocked on the door. Harry opened it.

"Evie!" He said letting us in. Danny, Tom and Dougie were sat on two sofa's either side of the room.

"Guys this is Kat and Hayley. Kat and Hayley this is Harry, Danny, Tom and Dougie." I said introducing them all. There was an awkward silence where everyone tried to think of something to say...

"Umm do you guys want to see the set list?" Tom asked.

"Yes please!" Hayley said just containing her excitement. Tom passed us the set list and we scanned through the songs. Five Colours In Her Hair, Love is Easy, All About You, Room on the Third Floor, Lies, Transylvania... the list went on.

"Some of my favourites!" I squealled... Okay I was getting pretty exited now!

We carried on chatting and had a right laugh until it was time for the concert to start. Kat, Hayley and I headed into the arena through the side door. A few people recognized my voice from the radio and came and spoke to us on our way to the standing section. Personally I would have prefered to have been sitting down. I didn't like the idea of being squashed and pushed around but hey you can't be picky!

Screams filled the air as the starting video played which Kat, Hayley and I had already seen backstage. The screams grew louder as the boys ran onto the stage and went straight into Five Colours In Her Hair. I soon found myself getting lost in the music and crazyness around me.

DOUGIE'S POV

I scanned the crowd as we started Lies, hoping to spot her amongst the thousands of fans. Soon enough I spotted her dancing like she hadn't a care in the world with her two friends who's names I had forgotten already. She looked so innocent, so care free, so.......cute. What! It had to be said! The way her hair flung all over the place, almost hitting the girl next to her (I had to stiffle a laugh at that), the way her eye's shone with happiness, the way she had a constant smile on her face. She was just so perfect. Hang on, what the hell am I thinking! She's engaged for fuck's sake!

She caught my gaze for a second and I felt my legs go weak. What the hell? I'm a man, since when did men's legs go weak at the look of a girl? Weird........ she was really messing with my emotions....
