The next morning I was over at the Andrews' spending time with them, while doing my homework as Fred read the paper. Archie walked in grabbed and orange juice from the fridge.
"Dad, Dani, I know you both think a prison is a bad idea for Riverdale, but Mr. and Mrs. Lodge really has thought this through," Archie explained.
"A prison would rip the soul of this town," I stated.
"Especially the Southside, so I'm not gonna support that plan," Fred added. "Or Hiram and Hermione."
"He's severing all ties with Lodge Industries and SoDale," I informed. "All of it. He's done."
"What? Just like that?" Archie asked.
"Yeah," Fred answered.
"Will they even let you walk away?" Archie asked.
"I'm not asking his permission," Fred stated. "They will. Or they'll have a hell of a fight on their hands."

At school, I sat at a table with Cheryl, Toni, Fangs, and Sweet Pea. A table nearby the core four's table. While we all talked and listened to them to see if they had any information about what was going to happen next to our beloved town.
"How do we know that-" Fangs began.
"Shh!" Cheryl, Toni, and I interrupted him.
"We're just hoping okay," I said.
"Okay, jeez," Fangs said.
"I just loved your spin piece in the paper, Olivia Pop," We heard Jughead comment. All of us rolling our eyes remembering today's paper.
"Can we not, Jughead?" Veronica pleaded.
"Did you know about Southside High closing?" Jughead asked.
"Of course not," Betty answered. "It was all her parents' doing. Right, V?" We saw Veronica and Archie look at each other. Only if you knew Betty.
"She didn't know, Jughead, okay? So back off!" Archie ordered.
"That's fine. I have to conserve my energy anyhow," Jughead said. "I'm going on a hunger strike to protest Southside High closing and to get it reopened. Same with Dani." Archie looked at me then scoffed. "What?" Archie then laughed.
"I'm sorry man. It's just..." Archie began. "The both of you are like, always eating. I mean, good luck with that, but--"
"Hey, it's Jughead and Dani's prerogative to protest peacefully, so we're gonna support that, aren't we?" Betty questioned them, then sent me a small smile, which I returned.
"Veronica?" We heard Ethel asked as she walked up to them with a milkshake from Pops in her hand.
"Oh, hey, Ethel," Veronica greeted.
"For your crimes against the town of Riverdale, for everything that you and your family have done and continue to do, we find you guilty. Your sentence is this," Ethel announced before throwing the contents of the milkshake on Veronica. Everyone gasped. Betty got up and took Veronica out of the bathroom. "Probably won't be the only milkshake for today." Ethel looked at me weirdly and walked out.
"Was it just me or did Ethel look at you weird?" Toni asked me.
"No, I saw it too," Cheryl said.
"Yeah," I admitted. "I have a weird feeling now."
"Yo, Jones," I heard. I turned around to see all of the football team and a few cheerleaders walking up to me.
