Chapter 47: Bizarrodale

Pops had a lot of people on this particular morning and I was on duty. I walked around setting down plates and pouring coffee. 

"Good morning Veronica and Betty," I greeted as I poured coffee as Jughead and Archie left the table. "Where did the boys go?"

"Good morning Dani," They greeted me. 

"The boys are going to the restroom," Veronica said. I nodded. 

"So sis," Betty looked around then looked back at me.

"You and Sweet Pea have been awfully close," Veronica informed. "Are you two?" I motioned them to come closer. 

"Fine, yes were are," I confirmed to them. "But we did sleep together a couple of times before we got together...again." 

"Dani!" They both squealed. 

"Shh!" I shushed them. "Don't tell anyone."

"Not even Jug and Arch?" Betty asked as she sipped her coffee. 

"Especially Jughead and Archie," I answered. "The only people who know are my dads, moms, Toni, Cheryl, Carson, and Fangs."

"Wait why do they know and we just found out right now?" Veronica asked. 

"They walked in on me and Pea dancing together and kiss," I answered. 

"Aww," The girls gushed. I looked around and sat at the table.

"Guys Pea's mom is gonna be visiting soon, he said that she is coming today or tomorrow and I'm so nervous," I blurted to them. "What if she thinks I'm not good for him and wants us to stop seeing each other." Betty wrapped her arms around me and Veronica reached for my hand. 

"Girl, you have nothing to worry about," Veronica said. "You and Pea are perfect for each other."

"Yeah, sis. The both of you are good for each other," Betty stated. "You keep each other sane and know what's right for the other one. So you have nothing to be worried about." 

"Yeah I guess that's right," I agreed. "I think my nerves are just going up." 

"It's going to be okay," Betty said. 

"Yeah, I better get back to work, though," I got up from the table. Once I got up I felt two people hug me. "Hi, guys." 

"Hi little sis," Archie and Jughead both said. 

"I'm not that much younger than you two are," I stated as they laughed. "I better be getting back to work. See you later." The door then opened and in walked Mr. Mason with Moose. 

"Good morning Officer Mason and Moose" I greeted with a smile. 

"Good morning Dani," they nodded at me before walking over to the McCoy/Keller table. My phone then went off along with all the other juniors that were at the diner. I saw Sweet Pea walk with Fangs and Carson outside the diner, both checking their phones. I pulled out my phone and I gasped. 

"Our SAT scores," I gasped, I worked so hard, hopefully, the scores can get me into a good college. "Pop, I'm going on break." 

"Take all the time you need. This is a life-changing moment," Pop said. I smiled at him. I went outside to join Sweet Pea, Fangs, and Carson. I then looked up at the boys. 

"You guys ready?" I asked. 

"Sure, we'll say that since this is determining our whole future," Carson said. 

I tapped all the right buttons on my phone as the boys did the same and minutes later I was staring at my SAT scores. I scored highly represented my hard work, it was a perfect score.
