Chapter 54: Fear the Reaper

"We gotta go," Dad said as he entered the room Pea and I were in. 

"We'll go check the trailer and you guys go to the house," I said. "If Pea and I don't find anything we will meet back at the house."

"Got it," Jughead said. 

"Keep her save," Dad said to Pea. 

"Always will," He said as he took my hand. Sweet Pea and I then rode to the trailer. 

"Ricky!" I yelled as we got there. 

"Ricky!" Pea yelled as we walked in. We looked through everything in the trailer and there was no sign of Ricky anywhere. 

"Pea, what if we don't find him?" I freaked out. 

"Baby, we will find him," Pea said as he kissed my forehead. "I promise."

"Ricky!" I yelled as we were outside. 

"Let's go to your Dad's," Pea said. Then we drove to Dad's house. 

"Dad, we're here," I said as we entered the house. 

"Did you find anything?" He asked. 

"No nothing," I stated. "Did you?" Then he handed me a letter. "What the hell?"

"Exactly what I was thinking," Jug said.

"Hey," Natalie said as she and Gladys came in. 

"Why is the door wide open? What's wrong? Where's JB?" Gladys said. 

"She was taken?" Dad said. 

"Wait if she was taken what happened to Ricky," Natalie said. "They were together."

"Mom, how the hell do you know Ricky," Sweet Pea questioned. "He has barely came into our lives and I haven't even introduced you to him."

"He has been staying with you, thank God," Natalie sighed. "Noah, you do know who Ricky is right?"

"Um he's the boy we took in since he didn't have a family," I said. 

"Ricky is Luca," Natalie said. 

"You're lying to me," Pea stated. "You said you didn't know where he was. But he did just tell me that his mother found him but he wants to stay with us. Holy shit! He is Luca. Now that I'm thinking about it, the timelines match up. Wait does he know who I am?"

"Not in pictures," Natalie said. "Just the stories I've told him." 

"As much as I love this," I said. "It's crucial we find them both in time."

"Yeah, so who the hell was my son taken by," Natalie asked. 

"By the Gargoyle King," Jughead said as he handed her the card. "And his loyal servant, Kurtz." 

"We have to find that son of a bitch," Gladys said. 

"Find him?" Dad asked. "He's outside in the back of my cruiser." He then went outside and brought him in. 

"Baby, get behind me," Sweet Pea said. 

"See, I told you that we both knew that the black hair princess was alive," Kurtz said as Dad and Jughead tied him down. "I mean this could have possibly been stopped if she ascended." Kurtz gave me the weirdest look possible. 

"Not possible," Jughead said. "You said that the King wanted this, so even if she had died that still would have happened." I started to walk over to him at the same time as Gladys did. 

"What are you doing?" Pea questioned. 

"I'm going to get answers to where Ricky and JB are," I stated. "I don't care if I am risking my safety, I just need to know that I can help save them." Gladys started to hit Kurtz.
